Couldn't resist and blind buy but read good reviews, so hopefully I'll enjoy it. Haven't seen the first, but heard this is actually better.

They used the design I hoped for and lowered the price. Double Win. Now if I can only get the patented Michael Scott win/win/win, where we all win

I did a search but turned up nothing. I have never seen this or the first film, but did the first one get a steelbook release? I HATE having a single steel of something from a series.

Artwork looks awesome :wow: Does anyone know the finishing? Gloss or matte...Gloss would make this "Pop"

Ooooh, just noticed this is released by Universal.
Their latest steels have been great quality - Wolf of Wall Street, 47 Ronin & Kick Ass 2 all have gloss and debossing/embossing, so I expect this one to be good too!

love the artwork but gonna wait for a price drop, dont see it selling out as 4k print run exclusive to zavvi

Yes, that's what I thought too. Not sure whether it's the sort of film that's going to sell out quick, so may wait (although that's not to say the price won't go up again nearer the time...)

I love the artwork on this!!! Still a bit pricey for me though, as it's a 4k run will be hoping for a price drop at some point.

Tempted cause of the artwork, but the first film, good premise that it was, was a bag of shite, so will give this a miss
Just saying: I had the exact same attitude. Seeing the first movie was the first time that I actually resented having to pay for a ticket. That movie was so boring.

Anarchy is actually a good movie. It actually addresses several of the "purge" themes that didn't get mentioned in the first movie. And it's a good thriller.

To recap:
First movie = boring, no idea how it actually got approved for a release and it will never join my blu-ray collection
Anarchy = exciting thriller, I'll just pretend the first one doesn't exist
