Thing is people have various opinions and you can't on the subject and before it turns into a he said she said it's best to keep it out of here. You can't expect people not to say anything if they don't believe the same thing you do. I am just generally speaking. So in order to keep things respectful among folks I locked it. You should know that touchy subjects will start fires even if you state that you are just expressing happiness.

I hate when politicians come to LA!! I truly do! Everytime they do they close the freaking freeway to let them pass through like they are some kind of damn royalty!!

Today Obama was leaving at LAX and well since I work a few miles away from LAX guess what I encountered in the freeway this morning? miles of back up traffic!!! What usually takes me 45 minutes today it took me 2hrs and 45 minutes!! argh I missed my morning meeting, I am behind in my work, now I have to get on my training since I missed it too, and now I have to leave at 8pm to make up for the time I lost today!! Damn it! I suppose I should be grateful to Obama for this too right?

Hell no! last time he came by they shut down the entire 105 fwy eastbound and west bound without letting anyone know, it took me 3 1/2 hours to get to work since that freeway is the one going to West L.A. so all traffic was diverted to the 405 North and man it was chaos!! Even the streets were packed! They should at least have the decency to say please do not use the freeway or avoid hitting the streets at certain times because such and such freeways will be closed, but no they can't even do that!

They don't announce it because of "national security".....jerks

My work laptop locked up a few times and BSOD'd again yesterday. I lost at least 4 hours of work on an Excel sheet. Just talked to the guy that assigned it to me, and he's dumbfounded. Thought it was a great laptop. I'm sure it was for the guy that was using it before me. This thing is only a year or two old!

I feel your pain. I work a TON in MS Access and Excel, and build scripts for all kinds of stuff to tabulate across multiple workbooks and databases... I've written a script over 2,000 lines of code and had it mostly wiped out by accidentally kicking out my power cord.


burns me up just thinking about it again...
