Just noticed mine has a small dent along the bottom edge, with no damage to the j-card that covered it, so it was obviously done beforehand. :sour:
How was your glue? Mine was like a mission impossible grip glove(the one that worked). They could have just used none because the card is nice quality.

Not too bad actually... it was somewhat tacky, but rolled off in one piece thankfully. I've said it a million times before though... there's absolutely no need for them to even use glue. The cellophane holds them in place perfectly well. But if they must, then the round transparent stickers certain other studios use are much more suitable.

looks nice... now we need big trouble in little china, assault on precinct 13 and halloween and i will be happy
There has already been steelbook releases
Big Trouble in Little China (UK Arrow Video and USA Scream Factory)
Assualt on Precint 13 (UK Second Sight and USA Scream Factory)
Halloween 1978 (UK and USA Lionsgate)

If you expecting new steelbooks to match the other StudioCanal steelbooks
Universal and StudioCanal do not have the rights to the above films

Isn't that the point though? Universal created a release that would sit alongside those that StudioCanal did previously, who knows other companies like Lionsgate may do likewise if they see a market for it

Matt Ferguson himself even referenced as much in this tweet

You could be correct or he could just be talking about a 4K steelbook release. I don't think all collectors switch discs, also could be a sealed collector.
Sometimes text messages can be impossible.

Didn't you say that Universal releases are handled by WB?

Does that mean Universal handles the design and production etc. and WB deals with the distribution, or WB does everything start to finish? If it's the latter, maybe, just maybe we could see a matching Memoirs of an Invisible Man.

While it is rare, it's not the first time different companies have joined forces to create matching packaging or licenced out a title to be part of a box set. Just look at all the different companies that have titles in HMV's premium collection.

Very unlikely you get Second Sight do this for Assault on precient 13

Big Trouble in little China is now with disney and uk rights with Arrow until that expires
You more likely to see Big Trouble in little china on Disney+ before you get a 4K steelbook

Lionsgate maybe do it for Halloween
