This Fall The Walking Dead comes to the toy store with McFarlane Toys action figures of Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Zombie Biter and Zombie Walker. Available for purchase November 2011.

Just a question, do you like collect these yourself? Strange question, I know. And also, do you have favourite characters that you push to be made? Because if I were in your position I would really try and make my favourites made.

@spawnshop - Do you think Dale's hat will end up being tan like it was in the majority of S1 & S2 episodes or navy blue like it was shown in the mock-ups? I believe he only had the navy blue hat in the pilot episode. A lot of the members of my facebook group have been asking about that. Thanks!!

Yes, I hope we do a regular version of Eugene as well. I was pushing for the standard version first, but got out voted by the rest of the design team who thought that the riot gear was a more interesting look....LOL.

Yes, I do collect these! I have the entire collection (except for S6 - still waiting on my employee order). Check out the link in my signature for my Zombie collection. most of my stuff is pictured there.
Yes, I always push for my favorite characters to be made, but then I also have to look at the line-ups from a marketing point-of-view as well. Personally, I'm pushing for T-Dog and a Deputy Shane. The one thing i will say is that it's getting harder and harder to get the female characters into the line-ups these days Our sales team insists that they don't sell as well as the male figures. So the more female figures that are purchased only means we will do more in the future. And for some odd reason, they also say that the walkers don't sell very well. So don't be afraid to build your hoards!

@shanerd - Yes, I noticed that too. I personally would like to see the tan hat as well. It would make a great chase or variant later on though. But again, all of the S8 figures were digital mock-up paints, so nothing is final quite yet.
If you really want that tan hat, get on the McFarlane FB page and instagram feed and let them know. (And I will push for it as well )

@spawnshop Nice, thanks for the response! I hope you enjoyed your Toy Fair weekend!! I'm assuming the same can be said for Dale's hat? I feel like his hat was always khaki or white-ish.

So maybe a Eugene custom won't be too hard. You'd really only need arms and legs for a normal look. Still dreaming of that 3 pack of their debut tho! Lol

Would McFarlane ever consider figure 2-packs in the regular series? It would pair a female or zombie with a top seller character. Lori and Rick, Beth and Daryl, Sasha and Tyreese....

Thanks for sharing that spawnshop (as well as everything else you share). It's so cool that a big fan is in there, giving his input on the line.

If 2-packs are the most economic way for McF to justify getting some of the female figures out, I am so okay with that as a fan. I just want the whole Walking Dead family to be there in my display.

Last page. Spawn was asked if there were any characters not yet on the show in line for series 9, the reply was only the Negan ilovelucy code. But EVERYTHING he says is cryptic.

I'm just hoping more of the TV zombies get a bit more normal articulation like the comic ones which is prolly why I passed all but the riot gear ones. Really can't wait for the pin cushion zombie especially after seeing it in McFarlane's video. It's a pitchfork!!

@ufnovaes I went back to where I had heard that both were Morgans. Someone on another forum said one of the McFarlane staff at Toy Fair confirmed that the stick and gun were both Morgans. I don't know how reliable that is. Plus @spawnshop has said there may be a surprise yet to come for series 8 so I guess we'll have to wait and see. Maybe just maybe the rifle is Morgans and the walking stick is actually Sasha's from season 4b. Although Morgan does come with a stick, it cud be to throw us off the surprise of Sasha being the sixth figure! Haha this is all just crazy talk. Anyways if you want that forum link just ask and I'll send it to you. I don't think I can post it here.

Sasha would be a good pick, besides the rifle could be hers, just need a silencer, right?

Sasha has definitely grown on me and is solidly #3 behind Beth & Lori as a lady I'd like to see in the line.

But I'm not optimistic. Spawnshop has directly told us that McF creative doesn't believe in the ladies AND Sasha was in the poll (indicating to me, anyway, that she has yet to be scheduled). Also - hasn't one of those guns been directly correlated to Carol's Terminus assault? Doesn't seem to me we'd be getting two females that close together, if it's a struggle to just get one.

But I'd love to see Sasha! Really enjoyed her in this past week's ep.
