Hey everyone! Hope all my fellow collectors are having a fun weekend. I'll be watching the old 1973 Super Friends cartoon all weekend. This forum is a little slow compared to how often I check it so I figured I'd ask a couple questions. First, when do you think we will hear who won the fan vote? Secondly is SDCC too early to hear the Series 9 line up? And now on to the fun questions, how do you guys display your figs? On a shelf? In a storage? Moc? Loose? Do you line them up or stager them? Are they pointing guns or standing straight? Me, for example, I have them on a shelf in my closet along with my Marvel, Star Wars and WWE figs. They are all holding weapons but not aiming them. I stager everyone with Rick in the front middle. So they look like they're traveling, I guess. On my days off ill take them all out in the living room and stand them on the floor. I don't play with them but I do enjoy being able to look at them through out the day. That should be good enough to get things started for some good reading lol. So sound off guys...

I'm telling you man, join our Facebook group! The conversation literally never ends lol you will love it!! As for your first question, SDCC is probably reasonable to expect when to hear what the S9 line-up is.

I think the Fan Vote will be awhile too, as 9 shouldn't be due until...yikes - early 2016. *sadface*

SPAWNSHOP! Tell Todd 3 TV waves a year IS GOOD. And berate him until 8 moves up to Fall and 9 gets slated for Xmas. ;-)

I display all my figures loose.

I have two small shelves that are right next to one another on my entertainment center. I have a display behind them (it's a very cool room that I picked up from another line) where I keep most of their weapons stacked. A few have weapons, and of course all their holsters are packed. Left shelf has the currently living, Right shelf has the *gone, but not forgotten* group.

Michonne holds center of the living, Andrea holds center of the departed. On both sides they are staggered and some are next to their partners in crime (for the living Maggie & Glenn, Daryl & Carol, Rick & Carl and on the dead side the Governor & Merle). When Wave 8 hits Eugene will join Abraham, and over on the departed side Bob will stand with Tyreese and Dale will join Andrea at the center.

My groups right now are:
*Michonne, Rick, Carl, Maggie, Glenn, Carol, Daryl, Abraham
*Andrea, Hershel, Tyreese, Governor, Merle, Custom Shane (and soon Gareth)

I am hopeful Beth won the poll, so that she can stand with daddy Hershel. The dead group is almost equal to the living!

I would totally dig 3 waves of TV series figures a year, plus 1 or 2 comic waves, the skybound exclusives.. also that new Walking Dead spin off is starting in late summer. If it's any good i'm sure we will be getting some of those characters as well.

@shanerd @Themadpatter Thanks guys! I joined the page but I'm not on Facebook very often, but after looking at the page I might have to make an exception lol. Lots of great stuff on there to keep me entertained.
@kassle That's so cool that you separate the living from the dead. I do that as well! It's always a sad day when you have to move a character to the dead shelf lol. But it's also great in a way. We are lucky enough to get that character forever immortalized and as long as they're attire/look is correct you don't have to worry about updates lol.

This is my first post on here! Yippe! Just want to say @spawnshop, absolutely loving the work done on previous TWD figures, have a collection I'm very proud of. currently awaiting Series 7 in UK. Any juicy hints you can give us on Series 9 lineup

Thanks!

The only thing I can say about series 9 is that I think you guys will be very happy with the line-up!

oh man i hope series 9 has atleast a Flashback Shane (better angels or 18 miles out) Constable Rick, Arron, Rosita, Daryl with long sleeves, Flare walker and T-dog, maybe an upgraded Glenn or Flashback Glenn. I've also been thinking. I'm loving the Gareth figure but there are a lot of other villians that had more to do and were in the show more. like claimer joe, martin, martinez. If we got a gareth maybe theres hope for one of them.

I think a Better Angels Shane would be best. Then we could get a Walker variant, too.

I'd also like Lori, but hoping if only she or Beth made the cut that Beth takes priority. And I am quite liking Aaron and would be into a figure of him for sure. I wonder if you T-Dog fans are getting T-Dog?

man i really hope theres a new shane but im gonna be pissed if they make him in his deputy uniform especially since mcfarlane could probably just make a shane without even needing new parts like this guy did

Picked up the newest wave today. I will say I was way bummed when Series 6 was delayed...but also love how close together we are getting 6 & 7. HINT, HINT - we could easily handle quarterly waves, spawnshop. ;-)

Michonne is so much better than I expected. I wasn't that into her when the original pics came out, but the paint apps are great, and the sculpt is even a smidge better than Series 3 Michonne (which is hard to beat, as it's on of the best likenesses in the line already).

I'm not a Carl fan (although he's growing on me a little...I definitely prefer teen romance Carl to pouty "I want pudding" Carl). But the figure is a great upgrade, as the actor has aged a lot.

Gareth is a great figure...he's just not very exciting to me as a character. Not McF's fault - I think we all anticipated he'd be more of a factor than he ended up being. When I think of Season 5, I will think of Alexandria, Beth & Grady Memorial, Tyreese dying and even Dawn. Gareth...kind of forgettable in the overarching scheme of things. But still - well done figure.

Mud Walker is cool, and I think McF has the right idea by populating the waves with far more heroes than walkers. I am so much more connected to the humans on this show, that I end up tossing a lot of the walkers in a storage box. But he's well sculpted, from a memorable scene and I think the display option of his coming out of the mud is pretty cool.

Across the board, this wave is well sculpted and well painted. I'm really pleased.

Hey spawnshop - question...

Was rewatching the marathon this wknd leading up to the finale and I noticed Terminus Carol is wearing the same outfit as her Wave 6 figure, with the exception of a different colored shirt (that is the same style as the one her figure wears)...which made me think of a Terminus Carol figure, of course. All she needs is a repainted shirt, a poncho and warpaint.

If you guys did a Terminus Carol as one of the retailer exclusives do you think you guys would be up for including a second "normal" head without the warpaint? The factory paint is so great on Wave 7, that it'd be nice to have an upgraded Carol who didn't suffer from the Wave 6 paint apps.
