Welcome, NoodleChow!

Great pic!

Thanks ufnovaes, glad I found this place and had to share the small collection. :D

awesome pic! :scat:
welcome to the boards.

Thanks spawnshop! Been reading through all the previous posts and seems like you work for McFarlane or have access to the process? lots of kickass production details regardless and I think you said the upcoming comic series has the new hips which is great. Few questions I have are: Do you know if more of them will have Daryl's mid torso joint too, if the ankle articulation will be more like the older double ballsocket type and not the ratcheted hinge that Glenn has, and if all figures from now on have the softer plastic like Glenn so I don't have to fight to get the weapons in hands like the previous waves? Thanks again!

Yep, I am the main Art Director for the figures.
- no, no plans to keep the mid-torso cut like the Daryl. unfortunately, it's an added cost that doesn't make the cut. We only did it with Daryl for more attitude on the bike. (plus he's got the vest to hide it a bit). If I see a figure design that it may work well with in a normal series, I'll try to sneak it in ;)
- The ankle usually depends on how well we can hide it. no set type.
- I believe the softer hand will be for all figures from now on.

glad u guys like the figures and think they are getting better. :scat:

That's awesome and thanks for the info! They're definitely getting better since I'd actually passed on series 1 and 2 when I saw them in stores. Series 3 is where I really started to consider picking a couple up, but didn't grab any until Glenn and Maggie were announced. I am all in now.

Is there any way you guys will be able to revisit comic Glenn with his regular hat and hair look? and I'd like to put my vote down for a tv Dale with Winnebago. :D

Probably not. From what I understand, the sales of the comic series is not as strong as the TV series. Unless Skybound wants to do some sort of exclusive, I don't think this will happen.

Oh and that Damaged hand

any new Rick so long as he's wearing those boot cut pants and collared buttoned up shirt would be great. swappable heads would be fantastic too.

and got Michonne in the mail. totally badass figure.

Now I'm all caught up on survivors till the rest of Series 5 hits and hoping I can somehow get the comic series 1 zombies for a decent price. those action features and removable limbs are something I need in my life.

If toyfair gives us 3 3/4" figs is LOVE that. We'd get what 8-12 figs in a wave making for some serious chase figs. I love the hunt as much as I do collecting.

Speaking of the hunt I have 10 Walgreens in town- been checking same 4-5 every day & calling them all --even knowing when the trucks show up... And I've yet to even see a Glenn perhaps tommorrow.

Guy on Instagram just found a zombie Meryl @ a Walgreens.

Gamestops web sight had S5 release date as 2/3. Just changed to 4/1 lol. Funny because the Daryl w bike is listed as 3/31.
