It reminds me of the VIVA release for king speech
Normally I like the characters of the movie somewhere on the cover, but I think I can make an exception in this case because at least the front and back represent the theme of the movie. Plus that yellow looks fantastic!
Now just imagine folks... a Kick Ass 2 treatment... full glossy with debossed elements!!!!

Without a doubt Universal are releasing the best steels at the moment and I think this will be no exception. 
From the mockup I'd say the title and flag will be embossed with the usual border.
Without being to critical as I think this looks awesome but I'm getting tired of those borders with pseudo embossing, would much prefer to see this de-bossed. Or if they were a little more creative with the embossing e.g. restricting the border to the flag itself would still give it an embossed look without the huge border.

The back looks interesting with all those $ signs if those were given a reflective look like glyphs on Revenge of the Fallen FS or the butterflies on FMC blufans it would look amazing.

Well the film is about greed price tomorrow will probably reflect that
I expect Amazon Price to be reasonable when its goes live and as usual you got there pre order price promise keep it lower if price drops from then to release day

Favorite movie of 2013, but not so sure about this steelbook. Depends on how they finish it. At first I thought that was mustard yellow, but I have a feeling it is supposed to be gold.

Personally I think the artwork is ideal for a border and embossing. It won't interfere with any artwork which seems to be the main issue for many here. I know it's early days but if this is of similar quality to Kick-Ass 2 and The World's End, it has the potential to be one of the best Steelbooks of the year.
It's supposed to be yellow. Like the posters for the film. And New York taxi cabs.
True. Universal are on a roll. Let's hope that don't do a Warner and screw it up big time.
from the mock up you can clearly tell the title will be embossed, the lines of the flag look embossed too,im not sure if this is what they are implying though

The Title not so sure I might be wrong but that looks a possibility its debossed
If it was just the Title debossed and Glossy we might have a big amazing release here

I haven't seen this film yet, though I've been wanting to pretty badly. As far as the steelbook goes, I kinda like it. Chances of me buying it are slim since I'm trying to be really limited in the number of steelbooks I get these days. Maybe this just might make its way into my collection some day.
