i got a new and sealed copy and under the j-card there are some light scratches but you literally gotta hold it to the light to see, the image quality and finish is so nice and vivid you just cant notice it

Mine is still sitting sealed on the shelf. Very torn over opening it or not, have a digital copy to watch so it's currently sealed and on display. Plus the price it goes for is tempting as trying to raise funds for a PS4! But it's so nice I really don't wanna get rid of it.

I opened mine and watched the movie. Good film. The steelbook is gorgeous and glossy.

I finally had a chance to hold this in my hand yesterday when visiting a friend who has it. Had to say I was very disappointed. There is no embossing at all, and the colors are not that vivid either. Couldn't feel the gloss finish as his copy was still sealed.

I was debating picking this up, but now I'm going to hold off...

It is really glossy and IMHO any embossing would have wrecked it.

As much as I would have like to tear off the shrink wrap and feel the gloss first hand, I think my friend would have a mild fit that being his only copy and all

Yep I didn't even realize Collateral was glossy until I ripped the shrink wrap off the other night.

I look forward to getting mine. My copy is on the way! It did cost me double what it originally sold for for a mint sealed one, not too bad considering what some peeps are asking. The trilogy will finally be complete

Still just hoping for some type of horizontal release. Can't stand them releasing things in different ways without completing a set or series.

Yeah it's annoying. I'm thinking of picking up the verticals instead and shifting the horizontals. I dunno though the UK horizontal of Shaun is pretty awesome with the debossed hand. I'm not so fond HF.. it's alright but I like the front and back of the Canada steelbook better.

Im really liking this steelbook since I got it last week, the colours and artwork are near perfect and I like the movie alot. Universal have been making some of the best UK steelbooks recently, I hope they continue to do that.
