I liked this movie...

Simon Peg & Nick Frost are a great duo and its nice to see them together again. And of course, I had to complete the trilogy on steel. Pre ordered, Nice gloss, finish, opened it, truly mint, region A! See pic All three!

well i thought it was awesome to. i think all of their films are great, hot fuzz is the best but do have a soft spot for paul :) i love worlds end, great steel and plus this was filmed down the road from me and its really weird watching a film when u sit there going saying well thats on the high street and thats the pub at the end of road etc cause you see them all the time

sorry howie only just see ur question. as snow says its letchworth and welwyn garden centre for pretty much all the outside/pub scenes.snowblood did you find it just as funny/weird to sit there watching it thinking been there done that, cant believe their walking up letchworth high street. its was brilliant they used the cinema as the big club in the movie..that is a proper old awesome cinema. simon begg and edgar wright did a q and a session and viewing of hot fuzz in the cinema to thank the town for letting them film there!!!i was gutted to find that out AFTER it happened

No. It's nice to have to complete the trilogy, but it never ceases to amaze me the price that some steels go for. I don't get it with this one. It's alright, but not £40.00 alright.

Not even worth the 23£ I paid for it at fopp. Got caught up in the hype and the fact that it was OOS at the time. Single disc for 23£ - no way!!!:(

Lol, Yeah was weird. I live in Lincs now & i was pointing out to friends when watching it, Been there, Been in there. The pub near the end is the train station, They just stuck the pub sign up on the front of it.

They did a showing of The Worlds End there as well at the time of the blu-ray release with a Q and A. I found out that day but was obviously sold out :(

I'm thinking of picking this up on eBay, but is it really worth £35/£40?!

In my opinion yes it is. The artwork is great and of course it has a really nice glossy finish. As for the film, if you compare it to Hot Fuzz or Shaun of the Dead it isn't quite as good but it's still worth a watch.

Yeah, I stumbled across this today and can't believe how much this steel is worth considering the flick is not that great. It's not bad, just not soo good that this steelbook has become more expensive than even Disney titles. Definitely the highest rise in value over any release this past year.

Don't mean to nitpick, but its on par with Kick-ass 2 & Rush for unexpected price rises.

How do you determine that? The prices of Steels like Roger Rabbit and Aladdin which have been out much longer are still around $60-70 dollars and those are classic films. This is not that great of a flick and yet is going for $80+ only being out 2 months. How does that make sense?

I wasn't discussing the quality of the film, just stating that there have been 3 recent steels released in the UK that all have roughly the same mark up on ebay. ;)
