If you're keeping it sealed it lets you display the actual steelbook rather than the slipbox.

Ordered the full version myself last night though, I love slipboxes and always open my steelbooks anyway. Not sure why I ignored this until now, I'd have kicked myself if I'd missed it.

This is why people usually double-dip for the 1/4 slip and full slip. This is actually the first time I've double-dipped on an Asian steel. I did it for that reason (open full slip and keep 1/4 sealed) and also so that I can display both on the shelf: with the slipbox spine showing "002" (Plain Archive's 2nd exclusive slip) and the steelbook spine showing "S01" (Plain Archive's 1st exclusive steelbook).

^^^ yah see I'm not wealthy like NoDingsNoScratches and Rekless :p, so I have opted for the 1/4 slip only on this one for my collection. Strange, because I am not a 1/4 slip guy usually. I like the full slips and lentis, but there is something about this quarter slip with that sticker that just looks fantastic and classy. Also, I really like the back of the quarter with the metallic lettering (same pic as the back of the full slipbox).

Anyway both editions are awesome, but I already have so many steelbooks that I am literally running out of room on the SEVEN custom shelves that I just hung on my theater room wall about 6 months ago (each shelf holds about 45 steelbooks) so I thought I'd be set for a long while. HA! I have less than one shelf left til I gotta think of something else. My wife already thinks I am completely bonkers insane. So yah... double dipping is not really my game right now.

Right On :scat:

Dude, I am totally out of shelf space :ohno: I've slow removed all standard slipcover and cases to make room for steels. I need to think of something fast!

My absolute fave piece of artwork for both of these entire editions is the back of the 1/4 slip! I kinda wish they would have used it for the steel itself but, I believe it has been used before.

Here's a pic of the backs of each.......1/4 & full

how long those it take they dispatch an order ?
i ordered this last Friday and didn't have any update on my account or dispatch e-mail with the tracking nr. ... i send an e-mail to Plain yesterday but they dont respond :(

Did you choose Small Packet? In my experience, they usually ship within 1~2 days, but shipping confirmation email with tracking status will be sent in a few days.

They contacted me today and told me there is a delay with Korean Post for delivering the tracking nr.
so i am in good hope :)

YES! No customs charges. It's is absolutely stunning. Instantly my favourite steel purchase. Everything is just grade A quality, the slipcase is amazing quality paper, the embossing is so fine and precise. The steel itself is lush, I really like matte so finish is great in my opinion. No dents scratches or anything, immaculate condition and well taken care of. The booklet is great. The trading cards is a very nice touch i think. How this is still available is beyond me.
