I really hope this sold well for them this weekend, would really love to see this company do well, they seem to be doing everything right so far :)

They did everything right but they made a little too many copies with both versions combined. Both versions combine to equal 3,000 which is quite a lot for a movie that isn't very popular.

I do not see the full slip version selling out for some time especially since not many people outside of HDN will know about the website.

Steelbook retailers should take a page out of Sideshow Statues and base the total steelbooks made for each movie on the popularity of the movie/demand based on total pre-orders.

You're Welcome.

But what would you expect from a Korean store, it's like someone in France buying a English steelbook expecting the booklet to be in French.

Correct, but I can understand where he is coming from.

To me, Plain Archive is targeting the international customer more than other Korean retailers. Therefor you would simply expect certain things to be in English, or at least a part of it.

For me I simply don't mind, getting something in the native language is an additional bonus. It makes the product more original and supplements the value.

Otherwise it's just your ordinary English steelbook from your local country which is targeted for a Korean audience in first, and secondly the international customers.

So keep it up Plain Archive! But as you international customers grow as do your releases, keep in mind that you cannot please everyone and just stay true to your core-initial business plan and identity.

I for one, will be opening the SB, and will be watching the movie for the first time. :hides:

So for me, if booklet and other stuff is in english, it will be better.

I for one don't mind the book being in Korean or what ever language - what I think might be good is if distributor could offer the addition of a replacement book etc. in English for an extra cost at checkout.
Just an idea.

I have no problem with the book being in Korean, I prob wouldn't read it anyway but its just nice to have it as a extra and I'm sure it will have some cool images, overall its a great package and well worth the price

Guys, don't get it wrong I don't have any problem with the booklet being in Korean but if you serve international customers I expect English in that booklet. That's just my point of view. That's all. No biggie...

so how does the customs charge work?

my order came to £28 for the full slip. if i am charged by customs, what happens? does my order get held by the post office until i pay a customs fee? how does it work?

Depends on your country...

EDIT - in the UK, they bring it to your house and you pay at the door. They may phone the day before to make sure you'll be in.
