I have had around thirty steelbooks shipped to me by zavvi and have only had one show up damaged. I contacted their customer service and they ask ed me to provide pictures of the damage and once I did they sent me out a replacement copy at no charge and did not ask that I return the dented steelbook. I am really happy with them.

Yeah, both times that I have received dented steelbooks from zavvi, they sent out replacements and never asked for the originals. Usually they'll ask for photos of the damaged product, but that's it. I hear a lot of complaints about them, but I think they tend to have great customer service.

You guys are lucky. If you're in England they ask you to return the original. I've had all kinds of headaches with Zavvi which is one reason I never ordered this.

Well, my copy of Thor arrived dented and I was asked to return the original. Sent a follow up email regarding about the postage costs and I was requested to send pictures in for them to access my case, by a different person this time. Probably depends on who handles the case I guess.

Bringing the topic back on track, I rather like the front cover as well, one of the occasions on recent Zavvi steels that I'll say the embossing was a nice touch. :p

Its no the HMV steel, but screw it, I'm more then happy not to have forked out £100+ for the film. Happy to have this set complete at last.

Enjoyed the movie as well. Lot more comedy then I was expecting but didnt ruin it too much.

Now I'm ready for the sequel this week.

Hopefully nothing to worry about, out of the 25+ steelbooks I've ordered from Zavvi, only 2 have been damaged.

Ordered around 12 and only had 2 that came damaged all the way to Canada (one had a small scratch and another had one actually warranting a replacement).

As for the steelbook, I like it. Not the greatest in the world but not the worst either.
