First if all, stop with your Conspiracy Theory... Cooey that works at HDN can confirm Alf_1 is my only account and I dont know who Kristy is???

This Kristy person is not even complaining about the same issue. Why would I even do that and I just wanted to address my disappointment about how the info was given to members on a super short notice.

Cooey explained his reasoning to me and I said my opinion on why it should be a 1-2 weeks heads up. I strongly believe if I had this group buy connection I can help improve make it better for everyone. A day before heads up even with Blufans telling HDN its in May the release, i feel they had more then one day to warn their members. Thanks

Sorry, you misunderstood and even though im angry I didnt mean HDN sucks. I meant in my opinion the way we were informed sucks. i will read the replies and I agree with some of you that it doesns have to be a long heads up like a month but it could at least be a well or maybe 2 so all members have a chance to reas the thread..

We are all busy and not everyone wants to come to a thread everyday for purchase when they can give a more reasonalbe time. Havent you ever been taught in school not to wait ubtil the last minute for anyhting, so why is it ok to wait the last minute to announce the Group Buy?

That’s the game of steelbooks am afraid.
I’ve missed out on GB’s (and had my Kimchi Deadpool rant as a means to vent, though that issue was 100% kimchi’s, nothing to do with HDN really) and have gotten super lucky with others (missing Kimchi ‘s meant I got the gorgeous FAC box, plus other ‘left-over’ GB copies of other MCU titles). It’s just the way it is.
I doubt every member here got 100% of the steels they wanted as unless a person is on here 24/7, persistently refreshing or auto refreshing every title’s thread until the GB is live, it’s just not going to happen.
So,e GB’s go live in the middle of the night for some members, others, like for me, we’re just Ill-timed as I was in the cinema and too late to grab a copy by the time the movie let out and I checked my phone.

It sucks, I know(believe me) but when I think of all the titles I wouldn’t have, thanks to this site, vs the handful I missed out on....it certainly weighs in my favour. Just learn from it this time, check email settings, ensure you have instant alerts for the GB threat and you should have vastly better odds next time

Why spread so much negativity if this is a place you won’t deal with or don’t even like? Goes beyond me what people feel the need for. I’m so glad I can enjoy both places and that there is room for both, and even more for those who wants it. And I’m extra thankful for the (mostly) great community here and all the efforts that goes into offering GBs. Ahh, being positive..

Yes, there was another member who said that they were not receiving the notifications. I know @apsmith21 was made aware of it but I don’t know what the outcome of that was.

HDN is not my company. I’m just a GB host. And yes, you are wrong. Have a read a few posts back mate regarding the fees that you mention.

I work crazy hours from Thursday to Sunday and it be nice to at least post the date with reasonable time for members at least a week so it is fair to the whole HDN community..

In my opinion 24 hours is not enough time business wise. Anyway, have a good day. You can obviously do the group buy however you like and you do since its your connection, but I still feel the info given when to buy is unprofessional.

If the notifications were working properly would it be in the form of an email? i been checking everywhere to see if i was notified, but nothing...

Im just really let down because I cant afford every release, but saved for this one as Thor is my favorite and now I followed this thread for nothing. Im just let down that it was announced spontaneously and yes its my fault I work a lot in the later part of the week. When I checked the thread last Sunday night and again on Wednesday all I saw were members writing “soon” and the page said TBA. The “soon” was used for a long time so it was more confusing and just not cool to handle it this way in my opinion.

No matter what we all know you will sell all your copies, but maybe in the future you can care a little more by allowing more time for your followers to read the posts... Also, the restock should have happened a few days later and not the same day!

Hd Zeta gave a specific time and date and guess what I was there prepared to buy one and if this had a better update then more members would have a chance to hit the buy button. I rather be there with the correct info having the Site crash and not getting the item over not getting it because the info was given poorly in my opinion.

If i know the info and it sells out when im there on time is better then it selling out to later find out its because the info to go live was randomly posted too briefly.

HDN offered Wonder Woman from HD Zeta, yet I didn’t get a copy. Tried to get one and missed out...I didn’t use my status here to demand a copy.

I had to go to eBay and pay 3x retail. Lol

The problem is with the retailer and the dilution of copies across multiple channels. We got a small slice of the pie, and that’s it.

The “soon” thing is made in jest as I have posted countless times that as soon as I get the information, I post and update accordingly. Which was no different this time.

It wasn’t a spontaneous announcement. As soon as I had the information, I posted it. Very simple.

Yes, I do it for free. I don’t see what’s so hard to understand about that. It’s all done in my spare time when I’m not at work.

You also don’t seem to understand that i can’t give a weeks notice when I’m told a day before the GB is to go live. I can’t force Blufans to give me better information
