I wish there was a Dark World store exclusive bonus disc somewhere instead that I could put in there.

I was actually thinking of taking all of the late night talk show interviews that everyone did for the movie along with the trailers and making a DVD out of them and adding to my opened copy.

Just to update, received my cardboard envelope from Best Buy today. One steel was severely damaged, so it's a return trip for a refund. At least two made the journey safely.

I sent my girlfriend on a mission to pick up this steel since I was getting my windshield replaced and couldn't go myself. She arrived to best buy at 10:45 so I was nervous she wouldn't get a copy. I hounded her once she said she was in the store. After a few minutes she texted me and said they were sold out and that people were scrambling to find a copy. I was pretty upset and this point and knew I had to go to all the local best buys to see if I could find a copy. Then 10 minutes later she texts me back with a picture of the steelbook in her hand and a smiley face lol. I guess she thought it was funny to prank me on such an important day haha.

OMG...I just opened this steel today preping for watching it tonight....it is EVEN more beautiful opened. People that are going to keep this sealed are missing out - this is a beautiful Matte finish...

I finally got a chance to watch this movie yesterday, the 3D version in this steelbook, and I have to say, the story was a mess. The CG in 10 years is going to look as bad as Godzilla '98 does to us now, and I don't understand the motivations for any of the characters. Natalie Portman's role was completely unnecessary, and even though she's still hot at 33, I could tell she was older than Chris Hemsworth.

I am really enjoying this release. I like the artwork with Title & debossing that makes it stand apart from the rest of the foreign releases. I'm not surprised that it has become Sold Out, especially because of the whole title Thing. What's with the low print run really? I asked a BB clerk about the print run and she didn't know....I was very lucky

I doubt a store clerk would have a clue about print runs. It's difficult enough getting answers from companies as it is.

Though, I can see why this has sold so well, as the de bossed title really makes it stand out from all other releases. Can't wait for my copy to arrive!
