Awesome, cheers. Will keep my peepers out then. Anything you'd recommend on JSDVD at present?

I love the TW version of The Hobbit, and if its still in stock the Lion King is stunning, but i haven't picked that up as i don't buy Disney steels :emb:
Iron Man 3 TW is really really great if you like slips as well

With ya's track record of cancelling orders, I'll wait for jsdvd to restock.

YA cancelled my order for IM3 last year; I had to bought my copy on e-bay. :(

---------- Post added at 06:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:11 PM ----------

YA's price has increased from $49.99 to $51.49

As it pains me to type this I'm cancelling this one. Seeing what Kimchi is offering and BluFans being a no brainer I really don't need 3 copies of the same movie. I could regret this once photos start popping up but being more selective helps my budget in the end.

I wouldn't do that if I were U ;)

I have been selling quite a lot of steelbooks (in bulks) and only preordering what I really really like (mainly Taiwan steels/Blufans & KimchiDVD exclusives, nothing more nothing less, no more UK/Europe/US and even Canada steels 'unless it's something very unique' - 'I just might pick some Lent-steels from MM but then again I am contemplating selling off my entire Lenti collection too, still not sure yet), one thing for sure though I would not want to miss out on a Marvel steelbook from Taiwan :p

If this was limited than maybe....

But since it could end up being like IM 3 a probable pass is fine. It's OOS at the moment but once it's released they're should be plenty available there after.

+1

Alex you should have NO problem picking this up at a later date if you want it! Its not going to be difficult just like IM 3. Plus you will probably get it cheaper as well....:p

What IS limited these days???

I'm not talking about it being rare and selling out as I really do not care about low print run, IM3 is a thing of a beauty even if it's still widely available, one can say the same thing about so many recent steels from Asia but why take the risk cancelling now only to buy it again later (assuming it does sell out and it comes with a nice slip?), certain titles like Marvel are worth dipping on and for me (Taiwan/Blufans & KimchiDVD Exclusives are THE only ones to get) but that's just me.

I'm so confused with all these Thor releases now.

This one (Tai) is a steelbook but with slipcover, yes?

All the other asian exclusives will be the same steel but with a slip, yes?

But BestBuy will be have the title/spin written on, yes?

Yeah there's no such thing as RARE or LIMITED these days...I agree...

But owning the same movie 3 times over is just not worth it. Don't get me wrong I think the IM 3 has a classic slip but I've learned my lesson from the past. Saving is much more important nowadays...

I HAVE to get Best Buy/Blufans/Kimchi but just cannot bring myself to cancel my 2x preorder of this release even though I know the Taiwan magic of the past is all but gone. :tear:

What makes you think the magic is gone? I would say ,"the print run is to high." Taiwan is still a leader in quality slip designs!

I think most retailers know this steelbook is pretty bad, so I think most will work hard to make it look a lot better, I do think this will look pretty awesome. If not, this is the copy I will open and watch :)
