I'm not sure that I can grasp how textless spines cut costs.

I mean every mm needs to be printed so how does text cost more that an image?

Somebody mentioned in the thread for the Lone Ranger Steelbook that it's so Disney can release the same Steelbook in different regions without having to reprint the title on the spine in different languages.

How hard and time consuming would it be to switch out the graphic with a different language title after every 4000-ish spines printed? They can't be saving that much by doing this. I suppose Scamavo might give Disney a hell of a volume discount for making a single large order. Still sucks IMHO.

I've edited your post.
I'm sorry... but what may be *** for you, may be someone else birth language. ;)

Please keep a little respect. :naughty:

Oh...I didn't mean any disrespect but I guess it could have been read that way. I simply was saying how it reads in English is ***** ***. I don't think anyone can disagree with that. :hilarious:

If you love foreign titles on your Steelbook, this poster would make a fabulous limited edition Steelbook:

Foreign titles + unique artwork. What more could you ask for?

full frontal nude version for the back artwork.

Love the nameless spine tbh. It's like the Avengers one. I also like the title-less front. That way I can sell on the 3D disc and put my 2D Thor [2011] amaray disc in.

Still pissed at the price though. I definitely will not be paying over £20 for it.

The Czech version looks the same only with the title included.

Could it be that Marvel Twitter page only presented to the public a picture of the artwork they will be using (without the title added) and not the finished article??

geek have a look at czech version art looks bloody good if is geniune stumbled on it from main thor worldwide list thread

only question becomes what region is czech if is true because to me thats mutts nuts if correct :scat::scat::scat:

The only artwork I can find of the Czech release is that Film Arena one. I hope it does turn out like that but Film Arena have been known to put up fan artwork before and then change it nearer release.
