Notes: Future Shop released the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Steelbook as a pre-order at time of RotF's release as an empty case steelbook.

True but this is the coolest and most sought after Steelbook out of the lot and it's well worth it [especially from a collector's point of view]

I have a copy, so I know what you're saying.

My thought for new collectors is don't always over spend on the "rare item" - wait that one out.

The actual print run, if memory serves correct, at the time of it's release, for this steelbook was around 10,000 copies.

So in the short term, get the one from Germany, and if the opportunity ever presents itself for a good price, you can pounce on the one from Future Shop.

As budget is often a factor for many people, especially in this economy, having the entire Transformers set might be more appealing (since you also get the movies) than just getting an empty case you can stare at.

Honestly in this particular case I think I'd rather stare at the steelbook than watch the movie.

Well, it depends on the condition it's in but basically.....

New/sealed is going for about $95-$120 or so and ....

open/mint $75-$95

Open/damaged < $75

I'm so happy to have mine! Too beautiful! And for those of you who remembered to one I got on eBay, shipping was originally $36 but it ended up being 21 so I got refunded 15 dollars. Always nice!!! Made me feel at least a little better about the insane amount I paid for an empty case

This is the best SB out of all the transformers. I remember a sealed one was around $75 4-5 months ago and now its around $100+.

It's different inside art. The DVD steelbook has the Fallen eyes as artwork.
