embossing and debossing is overated when it is a copycat of the FS steel which is amazing without emboss/deboss. Each to their own though. This will probably sell out quickly despite conflicting views about it. But we all know sold out means nothing when it comes to Zavvi.

i dont udnerstamnd the hype on this one, this movie is one of the dullest i've ever saw in my life, i know nobody who actually enjoyed this. its also a re-release with nearly same artwork and ppl still going nuts on this while real gems like 7 samurai getting low atention.

steelbook collectors are crazy.

The first movie tooks ages to sell out. Even after selling out it is available for rock bottom price. Find it hard to believe the poor lackluster sequel will sell out quickly but who knows as anything can happen in the world of Steelbooks.:ugh:

The only reason why the FS version of this became a grail was because of a powerful one-two punch.

Glossy + Rarity = oooooh. ahhhhh!

Same exact thing with Watchmen FS. Glossy + Rare.

It's not rocket science.

don't get me wrong i love transformers too, especially the first movie and the comic series but this one is a hell of a mess :dunno:

I tend to agree with you, a fun little experiment for everyone here. One time I "watched" this movie while doing something else (so the movie was playing in the background) if you only listen to the movie and dialogue, - this movie is horrible. Only the amazing visuals make this movie worth it. The story and acting is atrocious. But I buy steelbooks for artwork and this artwork is amazing. I like to have at least one steel from each franchise I like and this one takes the cake!

I guess im the only person that actually enjoyed this movie:p

And I think the hype is that now people can complete their TF collection in steelbook form and they actually all match each other somewhat perfectly. The German steelbook is garbage and while the FS one may be the most collectible, not many have it and it stands out from its TF1 UK and TF3 counterparts having a blu banner and no embossing. If this is embossed, then collectors will have a seamless line of the TF series looking all like good buddies on the shelf together lol. So all in all this is a great release for the steelbook community imo. And if the finish comes anywhere close to the FS one then it will trump it i think.

I agree with this entirely.
