Totally agree, even if it includes 3D version. Will wait for a UK or German Release
The FS includes the 3D version as well, so you'll be fine if you get that one. I am guessing other releases will as well, but we'll see...
I think I may even be peer pressured into getting this one purely because there'll (hopefully) be Japanese text on the front also, even if it isn't on the steelbook itself...

It sure does bring a very uniqueness to the steelbook!
I prefer they put the characters face on the slipcover instead just text...like Iron Man 2 Taiwan edition..now that is a beauty.

Hmmm, now I am curious whether this will have a full slip cover like the Japanese Harry Potter one did...I am not really into slips routinely but some for the Steels are nice. If the slip was in Japanese, I'd be sold! 
Sunny, could be, as Sony usually does this. But since some of our members in the UK or DE, for instance would rather get their own version,which would end up cheaper, I am curious if there will be other listings elsewhere

Just curious, are you getting every edition that comes out? I'm considering it but haven't decided yet.
Gonna hold off and see if the UK/EU get a steelbook, if not I'll order the Japanese version, granted the price is right.
I wouldn't put it past her, but don't think she will. However, Kelly, I am considering it too 
If I do I'll dedicate an entire shelf to the Awakening editions just like Wreck has for his IB.
what brand of blu ray player?(hope this is not the same for me..This sucks, it looks like none of the releases have more than one disc - which means they are all 2D/3D on one disc....these never work for me

LOL, Acid, no, not getting every edition. I was never into that, especially if they are exactly the same. I open mine, so whether it has an overlay with this or that store name doesn't matter to me. But aside from Steels, I may pick up another special ed or so, without Steels. We shall see what they ultimately look like...
I think they should make a collectible bust or full figure like they did with Babydoll from SP. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
