Hi All, I've renamed this thread, to allow anyone to post "fake" or "suspect" retailer or Ebay listings, so anyone can discuss/be warned. It allows traders to protect each other/discuss various listings that may or may not be authentic, officially supported Steelbook releases. -Digitalbabe.

From Lenocheck:
If any of you guys out there noticed a signed copy of Machete just sold on Ebay for over 200 dollars.
Was this an official steelbook or was this a FAKE ????
Would be interesting to read some of your opinions......as I thought it wasnt released yet.

Buffalo-no idea, I've not seen that one described that way before, and I am not aware of any official "Steelbook" release of this at this time, but we'll have to wait and see. Thanks for posting!

Deuce, people try to capitalize on the fact that Steelbooks are more popular, due to quality, and they include the word "Steelbook" in the listing to come up in searches and entice buyers. If the listing is reported by anyone for false advertisement, it would likely be due to "keyword spamming" (use of incorrect keywords, brands, etc).

This edition of Kick Ass is "rare" ?

Because this is the one I have, it cames from FNAC, he suffers during the shipping, and I was going to buy a steelbook of Kick-Ass, should I consider selling it ?
