Hi All, I've renamed this thread, to allow anyone to post "fake" or "suspect" retailer or Ebay listings, so anyone can discuss/be warned. It allows traders to protect each other/discuss various listings that may or may not be authentic, officially supported Steelbook releases. -Digitalbabe.

If any of you guys out there noticed a signed copy of Machete just sold on Ebay for over 200 dollars.
Was this an official steelbook or was this a FAKE ????
Would be interesting to read some of your opinions......as I thought it wasnt released yet.

Oh my god this is ridiculous. The fake Super 8 FNAC is at 257€ and the fake Hobbit FNAC is at 102€.

There wasn't any Fnac exclusive release of The Hobbit, it never exist...
There isn't even a barcode on the back, obviously a fake...

This seller also mixed the Amazon steelbook exclusive of Super 8 with the Fnac exclusive amaray+booklet to create a Fnac steelbook exclusive with booklet HERE

I had a look at the feedback of the seller and it seems as if the buyer (from the USA) returns the Steelbooks but left positive feedback. Good that the buyer found a way out of this deal.
