URGENT MESSAGE TO ALL NINJA MEMBERS

WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE ??
For month's now ive been witness to NINJA tearing into NINJA.
This is not a MESSAGE to single out ANYONE PARTICULAR MEMBER but to remind us all INCLUDING MYSELF..why we are all here..
Conflicting points of opinions will accure between all of us at some stage..and these differences of opinions will get heated at times as we sometimes try to get all our points across..These should stay out of the threads and go to pm's.
I found myself guilty of this at one stage and realised that the only way to reframe from this is to remove myself from posting anymore comments or pictures...This is not the answer either...We are getting VALUBLE members either getting posts deleted..temporarily banned or kicked out all together from the forum..THIS IS NOT EXCEPTABLE GUYS..we should never lose good people who contribute to this site..
I came here because like all of you i love collecting steels ect.
BUT what i found was far more enjoyable than that was collecting these steels with my friends and meeting people from all over the world. i would say that some of my best mates reside on this forum.And im sure most of you would say the same.
Somewhere we have lost this and it shows on nearly every level and thread.
Each and everyone of you INCLUDING MYSELF need to find that reason again as to why we are all here.
Forget the petty jealously..the attacks on comments made or pic that are posted and all the rest of this ****..
for christ sake We had a guy apologise for posting a pic of his new JOHN RAMBOW cause his didnt want to affend anyone. .We should be congradulating him on such an effort just being able to hold one let alone owening that bad boy..
What happened to all the encouragment and support i use to see when i first came on deck...
My OLDMAN would say to me when i was a kid,if i was acting up TO PULL YOUR HEAD IN ...We all need to pull our heads in and start showing each other courtasy and respect that we all deserve and expect..
We know what's wrong at the moment..and if you don't your very new to this site or you just don't care.
Lets fix this toxic crap and get on with what we love about HIDEF NINJA.

I agree whole heartedly in regards to all the steelbook comments.

The temp bannings are a whole other matter unto themselves. This is a hobby and passion for the mods and staff first and foremost and we wont allow ourselves or the site to get tied into any legal battles (if any proceed) between some members disputes that happen on other sites entirely. Stuff was spilling on to this site long enough ... Hopefully with what went down will put an end to that.

I want to go back to the joy just as much as anyone esle.

And CONGRATSSSSSSSSSSSS to whomever scored Rambo!

couple members had some serious dispute going on off-site and then spilled onto here and we had to delete messages etc pertaining to it ... its caused a lot of drama behind the scenes too. Thats really all I want to comment on it bud, as its been a mess and I think it should be kept as private as possible for the sake of all parties involved.

I absolutely agree to that. You did the right thing there.

What I ask for is common courtesy from members and no snide remarks. They are not useful nor constructive.

And no one should be correcting my spelling or grammar.

@Burragum I totally agree with you Gary. I've joined HDN last year and since then all I found here was joy and I have made a lot of friends. Ninjas "fighting" and offending each defeats the whole idea of having this community. I hope we can be back on track and only use this space to comment and debate politely what really matters: our precious collections.

What's the ALL CAPS urgency? The OP joined a few months ahead of me, and I just don't see it.

I think this forum is already super-polite, with thank yous in abundance and affirmation postings for every picture, new release, most every tidbit of new info, every group buy, award, anniversary, etc. etc. Look no further than the comments to this thread.

Lots of members thank each other for taking the extra time to contribute something humorous, or a picture, even though we may have seen it before. I appreciate every positive comment that comes my way if someone liked what they saw or read. Lots of members are saying nice things ... way, way more than anything close to the OP's "Ninja tearing into Ninja" or "Somewhere we have lost this and it shows on nearly every level and thread."

The OP's post is more sharply critical than anything I have ever read here (maybe every post that was more critical got deleted), and everyone is falling in line to thank the OP.

I am starting to get burned out on these long threads, and it's more about members not having much new to talk about. A steelbook is announced, presold, it may sell out and folks may get left out. Other than that it's a lot to do about re-runs, art, slips, how many are being released, etc. Everything that can be said about a steelbook release has been said, but not everyone has said it in every thread.

Now I'm wondering why I stayed up so late rewriting this stupid post. Sorry guys, I didn't feel like I should just delete it. Like everyone here, I just had something I wanted to say.

realised and apologise are both spelled correctly in his initial post

assume the American spelling is the only one and the correct one when it

People have a right to disagree with eachother and even more of a right to voice that opinion - whether they've paid for a Ninja membership or not.
