Value Guide for Buyers & Traders

So can someone explain to me why Warner's doing these limited steelbook re-releases only in Canada? They don't even bother fixing the audio in these releases like The Last Samurai, still doesn't have a Dolby TruHD track while in Asia it does.

What's Battle: Los Angeles FS going for these days? And what is a good price to Inception Briefcase Germany?

Hey Crazyfox. Welcome to the forum! If you're not sure where to buy steelbooks, check this thread out (https://www.hidefninja.com/community/threads/6016/). It's a great starting point. The most common places are probably amazon.de, amazon.co.uk, hmv.co.uk, amazon.fr, amazon.ca etc. Once you get 30 posts, you can view the trading forum to see what steelbooks our members have up for sale or trade :)

Welcome to the site and Darczap gave you ther best sites for steelbooks. You also have play.com if your in the UK :D

Amazon.de which has loads of Steelbooks is more reliable than .fr imo if going to Europe. Also have Amazon.it in Italy and .es has just started in Spain. Word of warning, if using Amazon.ca buy singularly, despite extra shipping won't get screwed for customs duty. :)

Hurt Locker $30-40 Andy? Wow ... I disagree.

Sure its not worth what it once was with all the G2 steelies out there for HL ... But I think I would value it more at $50-75 fairly.

But to each his own, and I am a Hurt Locker fan boy. However, my value is based more on the rarity of the title.

I didnt know Monsters could still be ordered ....

Yeah, I did an advanced search on e-bay for completed items and it's been fetching as low as $29.99 and sometimes in the mid 30's.

I was surprised as well - thought it would be going for more...but I guess that's the going rate.

I thought all the Disney steelbooks could still be ordered (and I double checked some and they still can be), but for some reason, the Monsters Inc page seems broken, so no idea what's up with that...

Hurt Locker (USA) around £30-£50 (SEALED W/BOOK)

Seems fair: have just paid £30 for one copy, and £50 for the other about 2 months ago (actually the £30 was in better condition from OCD point of view).
