So they just stealing all the FS designs? Great. I don't like the fact that USA will be churning them out too, especially if they're just going to be rereleases.

Snoo-nothing is being stolen. Best Buy USA owns Futureshop CA. The studio makes the design decision, so it's possible they wanted to get a move on given the new G2 production line, and the quickest way is to use art used before. I agree re-used art is not as exciting as new art, but we have to start somewhere, since this marks the first time we've had a 'wave' of Steels, at all:)

I'm aware of that but the fact that this is reused artwork would normally have people saying that it was lazy and they wouldn't be getting them. Instead people are getting a bit over excited. Are people not concerned that their favourite and rarest FS steelbooks could be due for a rerelease in the USA?

Yes totally understandable to think the studios are lazy when we see reused artwork on re-releases. But in this case, this is a completely NEW market for steelbooks not to mention a brand new G2 factory line. There are many new and potential steelbook collectors in the US who would not or could not pay the prices of first editions. And there are already many collectors (worldwide) chomping on the bit for these US steelbooks especially at these prices for re-releases.

If this steelbooks will have an internal artworks? Batman Begins does not have, but what about the others will also be "bare" inside? :ugh:

Completely agree as a new-ish steelbook collector I cannot warrant spending some of the prices asked for the original releases so these will do me just fine. Also most have no inside art it seems so I get to modify them just they way I like :scat:

I wonder if they are changing the release date??? Everything on the website is listed as a pre-order. I can't choose in store pick up anymore on anything.

Most of them have the release date of 6/19. I did a search for releases for 6/19, blu ray, Warner. It looks like Terminator Salvation and Constantine might be available as well for 14.99.

They have differnt SKU's so those are something else. Maybe slipcovers?
