They have differnt SKU's so those are something else. Maybe slipcovers?

Are you sure? because they have a lot of 2 disc releases same day for 12.99. Why wouldn't those be 12.99?

So let me get this straight:

1) recycled art = german techniques!
2) no inside art = german techniques!
3) re-releases = german techniques!

Congratulations USA, you got yourselves your own MediaMarkt! :hilarious:

At least you don't have the ugly german titles and printed rating logos :p

:hilarious: I'll deal with the chaff if that means we get more new releases. :)

BTW guys. Anyone have access to a scanner and is willing to scan these bad boys while their "clothes" are still on? (meaning while they're still shrink wrapped)
LMK or pm me.

True but Generic > Nothing my friend.

Besides a couple of these could actually be worthy.....

Hangover has original art & Sherlock Holmes is a true STEELBOOK.

I agree 100% what a let down nothing new USA is so far away from getting this right

I was at my local BB (northern Illinois) yesterday evening and they didn't have any of these on the floor yet. I will swing by today after work and see if they are stocked. I'm guessing they are waiting until Saturday to release for a Memorial Day sale.

Only trouble is I am off to Ohio tomorrow morning to visit friends for Memorial Day, so I won't be in town. I'm driving, so I'll most likely make a pit stop at 10am in Indianapolis tomorrow morning to check out the Best Buys in that area to pick up number of these steels.

Fingers crossed that my local BB releases them today to get a jump start on sales for the weekend. (I'll post a reply this afternoon if it turns out they are indeed released today.)

I called 2 bestbuys closest to me and gave them several sku #'s. Neither had them on the floor but had them in the back but won't release them till the 29th. Even Gran Torino that is showing add to cart to pick up on the 25th (today).

I am happy with this release, I wanted to get a few of these as CA ones but now can pick them up at my Best Buy. I will likely by 6 or 7 of them. I am torn which ones to get first going to try and buy 3 today Book of Eli for sure then either Sucker Punch, Sherlock Holmes and or Shawshank Redemption 2 of those 3.

I'm hoping to get some of these tonight. I'll see if my Best Buy has them out yet. Good thing I only got two of the Canadian ones.
