Especially with GR2....with multiple countries releasing this, it should not be that hard to aquire.
The only value I put on this BB pre-order is that it's a good way to get the guts to make conversions for a cheap cost.

The ONLY steels that MIGHT are the four exclusives. I agree whole heartedly. This hobby is for collectors more than anything.

I can't speak for everyone's experience, but I was pretty happy with how my local BB handled their first wave of Steels. I originally got 12 of the steel's at the $14.99 price (all in pretty good condition - no visible damage to my untrained eyes). They also had a decent amout in stock. And with the $9.99 price drop, I was able to do the price match and get $60 back.

$40 which went back to BB for The Hangover steel and I saw the Bourne Trilogy (blu-ray) on sale for $29.99, so I couldn't pass that up. I didn't have any of those on blu-ray yet.

I wholeheartedly agree. Honestly if your getting into this hobby hoping to make money in the future its just a silly thing to do, go buy gold and or silver instead you will be a lot better off in the long run. I bought an X3 in the height of the G1 popularity and thought I got it for a steal for $140 when they went for more than $200 at the time, I doubt I would get half of that back as the market changed and people have a hatred for G1 for some reason now (I will have 67 G1's when I buy Safe House tomorrow when I get my 4 G2's in the mail I will still only have 32 G2's so I have twice as many G1's than G2's). I also paid a little over a $100 for a G1 V for Vendetta when they went for $150-200 and with all the G2 releases of the title I would be lucky to get $20 out of it I bet. But I am happy with them and have no intention of ever selling them as I didn't buy them to resell them later on. I am curious what they would go for as you never see them on ebay though.

And to be hoarding Ghost Rider which was $5 is silly I am sure there are tons of people who did the same thing because hey it was cheap, when you are only one of hundreds with the same idea its not going to turn out well. You are so better off just buying silver rounds and selling them later on (I used to buy silver rounds like 10 years ago kicking myself for selling them when they tripled in value instead of almost 10 times in value now).

Totally agree this wave has a ton of really good films in it for cheap that is a good way to start a nice steelbook collection nothing that will likely ever be worth a ton but still a nice way to get started. I watched the Book of Eli last night and it was a better film than I remembered and I wouldn't have likely ever bought it if not for this release of steels. Sucky part is 18 of the 20 for me are double dips so I am being selective about what I buy like what is cool and what is worth double dipping on.

I just hope that the U.S. gets exclusive artwork once the new plant is in operation. I will support Best Buy to its fullest if they get exlusive worldwide artwork on their steelbooks going forward.

slightly off topic but it worries me that the G2s were made elsewhere, meanwhile safehouse is coming in G1 and I really hope sherlock 2 gets a G2 release, but now who knows

Yeah for some reason these two titles have plenty of stock. If they don't pull these I wouldn't be surprised if they were still around during Christmas.
