DALLAS - Police are searching for a suburban Dallas man accused of decapitating his wife with a chainsaw.

Lewisville police have issued an arrest warrant for 49-year-old Jose Fernando Corona that charges him with the murder of his wife, Maria Corona.

The slain 44-year-old mother of six was discovered in the street near her home Monday. A bloody trail ran from her headless body to her house. Police found two chainsaws with blood and tissue matter nearby, one of them still running.

The Dallas Morning News reported Wednesday that Lewisville police Capt. Kevin Deaver said the couple had been having marital problems.

Deaver said Jose Corona has no prior criminal history. Police are asking state and federal authorities for help locating him.

Seeing as how its in Texas, a major city, and they got 6 kids ... I dont think there was any money to clean out.

He has probably since fled to Mexico.

I beg to differ. Rapists, murderers who kill with chainsaws or other brutal forms of violence including mass genocide, pedophiles and people who commit other forms of sodomy all deserve to die a horrible death.


But you're right, who am I to judge a person based upon their actions and then determine an appropriate punishment, that's for our courts to decide.

EDIT: I mean, this lady could have touched her kids wrong and he freaked out. It's all speculation.

Trust me this guy was Mexican, I really doubt that he did for that reason. He was probably a jealous freak, macho type. If any thing he was the one the pedophile. Like some Hispanics that can't stand a man looking at their wife or that feel their wives aren't really doing anything for them. They end up going after their own kids. They don't stop to think how much the pain they're causing their families physiologically and physically.

People also need to remember that most Hispanic families don't believe in divorce. Atleast not people that are 30 and over. Because they still have those morals and values from Mexican culture. Now their kids may believe in it because they grew up here. American culture tells us it's okay to get a divorce if you are in a very bad situation. I know this from personal experiences with my family members. I personally feel that if at any given point I feel like my life is in danger with my spouse, I leave his ass. But that' s me, I grew up here and know that it is okay.

thats a pretty nasty way to go. if i read right did it say two chain saws were used? thats pretty sick. this guy must have been MESSED up. i dont care what a person does, to do that to another person you have to be a couple ticks off.

I totally overlooked the 2 chain saws why use 2?did he throw one at her or something, to hold 2 chain saws and running at the same time dude must be pretty strong or cracked out.
