I'll say the artwork isn't bad, but i prefer the futureshop version. Simply cause i love it when cover designs dont go down the route of slapping pics of the main characters on the front. think zombieland(uk) star trek(uk) super 8 (uk) braveheart, highlander, captain america etc they all use imagery that's synonymous with the film.

E.g. The futureshop version of watchmen with the doomsday clock as the cover. Its an image anyone who has read or watched watchmen know the significance of in relation to the story, or you understand it once you've watched it.

I personally think that's a cool route to go down when designing SOME steelbook covers. (not all obviously variety is good)

I don't see this steelbook getting very popular, to be honest. I mean, how many different Watchmen-steelbooks are out there? Even if this one does sell out, I don't think many will pay a high price for this version if there are others out there.

I think this will be very popular. There are only 2 watchmen steelbooks out and I think this artwork is a lot nicer than the German one. I actually think it looks as good as the FS one so I can see this becoming very sought after in the future.

I think it's actually very good looking and it will be popular. Absolutely love the colors and the artwork.
