Figured I'd start a spin-off thread of the craft beer thread. Post your pictures of what beer you are drinking!

I got a call today saying I didn't have to go into the clinic, and that means I'm done for the Holiday!! :scat::scat:

So I cracked open a Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale. It's 5 o'clock somewhere, haha

one of my friends works for miller here in milwaukee, and he gets to take a case home of beer every month FOR FREE. since miller owns blue moon, he gave us a 12 pack of their sampler. some of their beer is nice id have to say, and my wife likes them too so not gonna complain about the free beer ;)
 
and here it is! we will see how long i last studying after downing this 13.6% DIPA monster :hilarious:

and i must say, very tasty. it was pretty pricey here in wisconsin ($5 a 12oz), so id probably pass over it again at that price, but if it came down to around $10 a 4 pack, id definitely snatch this one up every time!

One of my favorite dipa's! It went up on price this year. Usually like $13 a 4pk but for me it was 17. Cheapest i saw it was 14. But that was one place. No one knows the reason for the price jump.

Today I drank one of my boulevard bbqs. Dranking it while eating my homemade smoked carnitas!

That is one of my favorites! :scat: I've got a 2011 and a 2010 that I'm saving for a special occasion. I'm also sitting on a couple of the NG Barleywine, my BCBVS and Schlafly BBQ as special ocassion beers.

it was mid-studying. i needed some short-term motivation, and knew where to get it, haha.

im really curious to see how the NG BW ages. it drank more like an IPA fresh but i bet the hop calms way down in a year and you get more of the malty/graham cracker taste thats slightly there now
 
I had a few bottles of Stella at sunday as I was celebrating my new shelf.. LOL

My husky loves beer so you can see she was trying to get her bit too.. :p

LOL...on the rare occasion that I drink anything, it's likely a girly fruity drink, or a Corona/Bud Lime, nothing fancy. But it works when it needs to, LOL! :hilarious:
 
The weather was nice last night, so I fired up the grill. When grilling, you've got to have a beer, so I broke out the Michigan Sour Cherry Tripel that Splax sent. Really good. My first thought was that it tasted a lot like Boulevard's BBQ, but with less of a malt character. Makes sense when you compare a Quad to a Tripel.

I really like that beer. I like most beers that Big Rock makes. I havent had a beer since sunday and I am trying to keep it that way. No drinking or buying beer until next saturday when I go to the KBS release at Founders!!. The one issue i have is Kuhnhenn is releasing a new mead everyday this month and I might be stopping in to grab some. So that means I have to drink a beer while im there haha. Looks like the streak ends tonight :(

I saw a few of my local guys have already got some 2012 KBS. The live over in IL and apparently their local store just threw it out on the shelves when they got it in.

I need to check with my local guys and get on the list for KBS and Hoptimum.
