Figured I'd start a spin-off thread of the craft beer thread. Post your pictures of what beer you are drinking!

I got a call today saying I didn't have to go into the clinic, and that means I'm done for the Holiday!! :scat::scat:

So I cracked open a Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale. It's 5 o'clock somewhere, haha

It's just been one of those weeks... Might have to pick up another 3F Intense Red on my way home. Raspor knows what I'm talking about. That stuff is good. I'll also have to start posting more pics. I'm such a slacker.

It was my wife's Birthday this past Friday. Since the restaurant I've been drinking Dos Equis! That's my favorite cold one!

Been trying diff stuff, liking Badgers ale. Had some Dead Crow, some Hoegaarden which for me was an acquired taste. Also tried some Viru from Estonia.

Might pick up some Iron Maiden Trooper, Morrisons near me has some I believe.

Last week at one of my local liquor stores, I spotted a new one...

Koko Brown, from Kona Brewing Co. (Hawaii)

During checkout, the cashier said it was her favorite beer they had on hand (the truth or a sales pitch, you be the judge.) :p

Per the description on the label it's an ale brewed with toasted coconut.

Gotta say, it's pretty damn good...a clean-tasting ale with a slight hint of toasted coconut.

Cheers!

I had that Kona beer while I was in Hawaii… I agree it's pretty good! They actually have 2-3 other flavours if you can find them!!

Hmm I am interested in finding one of those Koko Brown now :p

I had an Orval last night and it was good. Lots of head, but it was a tasty trappist ale.

Actually, when I was out in your area a couple times before (San Diego and San Fran)...I had the Coconut Porter, made by Maui Brewing Co. It's very similar to the Koko Brown, though they come in cans only.

Kona makes some really good stuff. They are just now starting to distribute here in MO again. If you can ever trade for some or ever find it somewhere, you need to try Perennial's Fantastic Voyage (regular or barrel aged version). It's a milk stout with coconut.

I've been sticking to the local stuff lately, mostly Schlafly, Urban Chestnut, and Mother's. My mom is going out to the East coast and said she'd bring some stuff back from Starr Hill for me, and I'm really happy about that. :scat:
