A simple rule should be implemented that only non-spammy posts are accepted and eligible to win Who started all this anyway!? Oh yeah, @GroundDigger...

I do agree with you, spam posts should not count even though I have some myself as it gets to the point where if you can't beat them, join them as it is the only way to match their number of posts.
I fully respect people that take the high road though.
They should rule that if a spam post wins, they just roll again but with the way this is going, they could roll all night. Plus you then need to determine what a spam post is, is it just the one words or do the gifs with nothing to add also count

Yea, 100% agreed. I'm just doing it to keep up with others who do it. At the end this is all good fun and it's also entirely possible that someone who only posted once wins.

Doubtful. Usually once the GB is over, unsold allocations will go back to WeET and sold directly on their website on the pre-order date.

I was pondering this just last night because I'm planning on doing a giveaway before too long. I can pretty much guarentee you that any spam posts will be ignored, and I'll be sure that is in the OP.

That said, there is a way around the single word post as exhibited by @Patr0n where he initially mentions his blufans, and then does numerous posts stating which ones he has. I would think those posts would count, and would in my giveaway.

As for @GroundDigger he only appeared on this thread because I tagged him due to others starting the spam ball rolling. To his credit, he came in and showed them they are unworthy and split like a mic drop. LOL. It's classic. I'm still laughing.

If one of those spam posts does win, I hope it's GroundDigger.

I'm just gonna then blatantly off-top here about my most pleasant experience rewatching Proof of Life for the first time in about 20 years. Such a great movie that tramples everything new I watched in the past few years. And there's not a single frackin' CGI shot in it.
The visual effects team consists of 8 people, not 6 rows of names scrolling for 5 minutes of the whole nations of Sri Lanka and Bulgaria or something...
And so many familiar faces we don't see anymore.
Also, Meg Ryan was first billed, above and before Russell Crowe, how cool is that!
That's it, I'm turning into one of those 'old people' that only watch their 'old movies', screw it!

Never seen Proof of Life, but since you mention it being so awesome and all with no cgi whatsoever, I feel I must quickly interject here that the greatest non cgi performance goes to Rob Bottin and his team on The Thing. I know I should say JAWS, because that was an amazing feat they pulled off, but the morphing of the thing and the imagination that went behind that work just seems to me to be otherworldly. JAWS is still my favorite movie of all time, but The Thing dances in the same stratosphere.
