Working Out Thread

are you able to keep up?

I do as much as I can, they even tell you to only do as many as you can and dont over do it they even show improvised ways to do the exercise.

Does P90X really work? I've always been skeptical of anything I see advertised on an infomercial.

Anyway, several years ago a Dr. told me that I had bad knees, and shouldn't run, so the Army took his diagnosis, and then told me that I can walk instead. On Tuesday, I'm going to my current Dr. to get his opinion. I'd like to be able to run again. Wish me luck.

I know a couple of guys who have lost 20+ pounds in the first 30 days following the diet and working out. As mentioned above, they show you different variations of the work outs so you can do it too. I am always skeptical about those infomercials too, but I have heard a friends talk about it. If it wasn't for them I would of never tried it.

Good luck with your doctor's appointment!

good luck man! I just started working out weekly and i've been doing alright so far. I've just been trying to do at least 100 calories a day, plus diet, plus a few reps on the weights.

I've only been doing it for about a week, so I haven't checked my weight. I'm trying to get toned, not ripped, so we'll see how it works.

Personally I'm going for ripped!!! :hilarious:
I did really well in 2009, lost a bunch of weight. Now I just need to get that little extra off. Hate running though!!!!!!!

Here's the workout sheets so you can see what each day holds for you. Each tab at the bottom is a day of workouts. There is usually 30 second breaks every 4 exercises and a few days the workout includes abs so it makes it 1hr and 30 minutes of workout. The first day I did that I was like wtf! EEK! lol

That's pretty intense. I like the idea though, I just don't like the fact that it requires effort :hilarious:

Somewhat related I'm going to Home Depot to get me some wood to build a weight bench... about the only kind of exercise I love doing is free weights... that and I miss the days I had a killer upper body

I just stumbled on this thread lol I didn't pay attention to the plyo and cardio comments by CO and I know should have because those two are brutal exercises!
