I can provide tons of pics in which you couldnt tell any scratches. Its even close to impossible to show the hundreds! of small hairline scratches on the front.

Have to admit: Its facial expression pretty much captures it

I feel sorry for u mate :(

Its not that bad. The guys are working on this this and put alot of effort into fixing the issues.

Still: The steelbook itself is awesome, the lenti slip is flawless (in my case) and was well worth the waiting.

But: Do yourself a favour and dont end up buying sealed ones - it might be your worst idea ever and i think that this steel will end up beeing one of the rarest on the market (in prestine condition).

I think the opposite. With everyone 'panic' opening, a sealed one will be rarer.
We still don't know what the resolution is going to be, so there is no risk in leaving sealed until this is announced

Yes rarer and if i knew that 90% of these steels could be a mess under the shrink, i couldnt care less about the 0.1 cent shrinkwrap being "mint". But thats just me.

Mint to me means flawless steelbook which is nowadays close to impossible to find, depending on your standards. Shrinked collecting is for believers and happy people, nothing for me ^^

I dont believe in "mint" anymore at all. 99% of my steels have minor issues and if its just a paint chip of the size of a fluff it isnt mint for me anymore - and im used to order at least 2-3 versions of a release.

What i send back: any scratches/dents/slashes - what i must live with: paint chips and print issues.

We have to face it: its just a piece of metal, handled without any care as we would do :/

But im straying from topic - sorry

I opened mine

Mine looks just same like yours

Many hair scratch and small dent on the back

I asked many of chinese friens about theirs status

They said theirs also looks like same as mine

Chinese collectors already knew blufans steelbook has every same issue released from first

They asked me to stay keep sealed, not to open. Solution for blufans

Due to a mistake in printing, Wreck-It Ralph steelbook is need to be re-manufactured. As a result, the release date for WIR will be delayed till end of June.

With an even worse result

:thumbs::ohno:

What I think blufans should do to gain any respect going forward is to hand out one sealed steelbook with no disc to each and every steelbook ordered during the entire process. That is the fairest way to do it. With the prices they charge they still made money if they had to eat the cost of empty steels to every order. At least that way it would ease any tension and you could see through the plastic wrap it was in mint condition if they just wrapped the steel in plastic with no backer cards. The amount we end user had to pay for these steels with the markeup is a lot considering they are all damaged.

I see this as no different than a replacement disc program like they did with A Trip to the Moon. They sent out discs for each and every steelbook you ordered for free.

I think above posters discredit the effort Blufans put into their releases.
First of all, not every Blufans release has the same issue. Rio, Farewell and Real steel are all high quality collector items. And "Keep sealed, not to open" is not the solution for Blufans, Please be objective, Mr. Choi.

" the even worse result" is not done purposely by Blufans and no one would be stupid enough to risk the reputation to do that. In fact, Blufans is working very hard to present the best product possible. What happened to WIR is unexpected and unfortunate, and Blufans has sent the inquiry to Scanovo for further explainations. I feel the thread is derailed by some members displeasure. Like I said before, all the problems has their own solutions. And the case exchanging program is taking place near the end of month. Further details will be posted on the group buy section later on.

If you want to share some useful suggestions, please send your post to here

BTW, OZ could be the last group buy here. Thank You all for your past and future supports!

hey folks, retailer chat belongs in the retailer thread.

and as you all know, we've supported group buys on the backs of our GB hosts for a long time on this forum, the majority of work is done by a very small amount of people, and that's it - so there are bound to be some folks that get overworked or overwhelmed with the demand of a quality release.

for a long time, I think we can all agree that BluFans has done a very good job in presenting a release to the members here that is appealing. if it came with extra stuff, a sharp looking slipcover and other items. with such a hyped release like this, yes it is disappointing that there are defects - I don't think anyone is suggesting, don't open your steelbook if you dont' want to see problems - but we've seen issues with all kinds of runs from all kinds of retailers in the past - steelbooks are going to run into issues if somewhere in the process that "care" to handle the steelbook delicately "breaks down".

You guys (as a group) have a lot of marketing power and whether you realize it or not, a lot of "say" in any release, so IMO, for any particular retailer or business were to ignore that, they may have some serious trouble actually selling out their next release.

I would also like to state that many of you don't see issues that are caught by the GB hosts - we are not in the habit of sending on obviously damaged items, which we work direct with Kevin and BluFans to rectify, so on that end there is also a lot work that is done to make sure those items are not sent on.

I think there are a lot of advantages this forum has naturally, including members that are experienced in import / export of items to their country, safely packaging items to the recipients, picking the safest and most expedient way to get items to you guys, and tons of other things. ;)
