Extra cases are limited as well. It is impossible to reproduce the steelbooks again. I will talk to Blufans for the possibility of the refund. if not , at least i will try to suggest the credit for any your future Blufans orders. But you will have to keep the steelbook sealed for the return. For your opened copy, you can only have the exchange case option. For other members who are strictly OCDs and haven't got their orders shipped, please tell your hub hold on sending your orders. Thanks for the cooperation!

Kevin, thanks for the additional information.

But how can we check the steelbook for damage if they'll be held at the hub?

I'm not really interested in a refund, but of course I'd like to receive an undamaged steelbook.

What I can't see, can't bother me.so both of mine will remained sealed.shame though that this has happened to so many copies.especially after paying so much, and waiting such a long time to finally receive them

I can relate the feelings, but add more to my own.
It is taking too much of my time and my energy for the group buy, but I will still try to make sure everyone is happy at the end!

@....Kevin

Regarding the exchange. Do we have to send the damaged steel minus the discs back first and then the replacement case will be sent to us ? Meaning we keep the slip & disc's and Blufans only replace the case....

Hi Kevin,

This is obviously an unwelcome development, and can understand you not wanting it to take up so much of your time.

I feel a partial refund would be better than a future credit, incase someone doesn't take part in a future GB.

Either way, many thanks for your continued time and effort

Yes sending out the case only and the postage will be covered by Blufans.

Thanks

I won't be ordering any more Blufans releases. We pay an absolute fortune, wait months and months and then get a less than satisfactory final product. I would rather take my chances with Zavvi.

Thank you for your valuable opinion! I think that will help improve Blufans future product quality for other members!

Don't get me wrong, I am here and work for your guys to get the thing right.
Just begin wondering if it is worthy for me continue doing the group buys in the future.

Hey people, let us finish the discussion for today - tomorrow is a new day - then they all have calmed down a bit and we can be objectively finding a solution wich pleases erveryone - just my thoughts:thumbs:

By what I can see Kevin, you do an excellent job organising these GB's.and I for one appreciate all the hardwork and effort you put in,to making sure these GB's are successful.im confident that many other members feel the same way as I do:thumbs:

Kevin thank you for the all the information.
I really appreciate and am very grateful for the GB you organise! And the time you take out of your busy life to bring us these special editions from blufans...I am also very happy with the solution you have put forward regarding the replacement...

It's not your fault !!!

I'm sure nobody is blaming Kevin for this, and I think he knows that. However obviously these Blufans GB's are a huge job even if everything goes smoothly, but should anything go wrong like this they are a huge burden for one person. I wouldn't blame him for thinking twice in future, as much as I like getting some of these releases.

Unfortunately this is just a continuation of the steelbook damage that has become a plague in the last few months, almost every release now has a problem in one way or other. It seems to my untrained eye that the volumes being produced are just too much and the quality control is zero due to a lack of time/staff and having to meet production deadlines.
