might be a true "sold out", since most of us ordered it with the 3gbp discount voucher and therefore didnt cancel and reordered it a zillion times

its funnier that ppl dont understand that theyre the ones causing the confusion by canceling and reordering with a voucher in vast quantities...

but in this case i think the actual stock might be low for real

I love this film and love the steelbook - I would have liked it in 3D, but I managed to pick up a cheap 3D copy anyway, so that will tide me over :)

I think this is sold out for real, remember the discount code, and it has a 5K print run unlike the previous 2 steelbooks which had like a 10K print run! Remember how fast Aldaddin and Nemo went?

out of anger at Zavvi's crappy CS i cancelled all pre-orders, hoping I could pick up copies of titles I REALLY wanted, down the line or via ebay...not sure its such a wise choice regarding this one :(

ordered with discount as well *sigh*

I can understand that. Both the frustration at poor CS and cancelling. They riled me too but I got through via Facebook and Twitter and got to a satisfactory(not a good one)solution. I'm sure you will be helped out by some other Ninja - they have fab CS - with WIR.

I cancelled all bar Dusk til Dawn as that was the only sold out title (aside from movie the likes of Pacific Rim, Elysium etc over to Amazon of course). I guess I wrongly figured that with only Aladdin selling out, I'd be able to pick this up on ebay later on :(

They might be a few left due to cancellations, and perhaps a few have been held in reserve in case of any damages. But even accouting for that I can't see it being any more than a few hundred.

I love when people try to make a point and it bites them on the arse.

your pleasant arent you

I took the risk at buying from 3rd party at a later date rather than deal with zavvi, and I remain confident I'll still be able to do so at some point. Its just a shame that it selling out will make it more difficult. Unlike the sourcing of Team America and Reservoir Dogs which are still in stock and already popping up on ebay.

But like the HELPFUL member said previously, maybe a trader on here will help me our (clearly not the likes of you)

I dont believe zavvi hold back for damages, but cancellations will certainly reappear around release date. Not that I'm wanting to buy direct regardless :(

stupid zavvi

I reckon these steelbooks that are part of a collection that sell out will be worth alot in the future. I can see new collectors wanting the set liking with harry potter making them rare. We shall see
