Going by all the previous UK X-Men steelbooks this is destined to be matte also. Probably be of a similar design to the last Wolverine one.

I assume FAC will, they jump on every other bloody WWA steel plus it's fox and they seem to work on their releases at times and I also imagine kimchi might like they have with revanant, maze runner 2, black hawk down etc oh and didn't they do one for DOFP too?

New artwork is OK and, yes, it's neither original nor exciting and certainly not as effective as for example this official poster design by GRAVILLIS, INC (SOUTHPAW and 2 GUNS) from poster artwork by JUSTIN ERICKSON :-


Far better would have been this on the Front -----------------------------------------------and this on the Back.
For the Inside - plain silver or white with no artwork wouldn't have been a bad idea:-

Debossed title and matte finish so as not to "hide" the fine detail in the clothing with generous use of spot gloss on both the front and the back.

I really like the colouring on the neck piece from the light and eyes. I know it's minimal and faint lol but I like it
