I was going to order the steel, but then i saw the movie yesterday.
I didnt have high expectations but seriously it was not good. Sooo disappointed. Didnt think Bryan Singer could mess it us this bad with First Class and DOFP in the bank :/

I think it's extremely poor that HMV still do not have a confirmed release date on their listing page for this title.

Came across this live pic and don't know if I'd quite describe this as a Glossy steelbook - certainly looks very metallic and quite a bit darker in the flesh than the mock-up:-

With a framing border I'd expect to see embossing of some kind but struggling to make it out from the image and no mention of it in the description over at Scanavo.
Would be cool if En Sabah Nur is fully embossed with the title and figures not.

Pictures from other European releases show gloss and no embossing.

This'll be in 2 for £25 in no time.
probably.

thinking of cancelling my order for thi (tbh, Jan's holiday has me considering selling my first class and DOFP steel's - I've watched them maybe once since having them so cant justify keeping them if they fetch a decent price - same with the Star Trek movies. Not that they are bad, just dont watch them enough to warrent ownership)

Both DOFP and Planet of the Apes went 2 for £25 within about 8 weeks of release. Recently Lego Movie and Cloverfield Lane have both gone into the same deal and how long have they been out??.... I don't know if it's because HMV do huge printruns or what but I no longer preorder their steels anymore.

Big print runs are great IMO - in terms of getting steels and not at scalper prices at least

point is, I think am gonna sell the X men steels I already have as I dont think I want to own them anymore (not that they are bad movies, by far. they are great)

Im a little confused by this... Its out on the 7th of november yet hmv tweeted out this, maybe just a mistake?

It looks very dark in that picture the steelbook.

I am so :banghead: that I have all the other xmen/wolverine steelbooks but didn't like this movie much. Maybe I should watch it again, is there an extended or anything that might make it better? It's a shame as I love the characters and the actors but it was my least favourite so far :arghh:
