you should wait until someone confirm it because Ben reported that the disc is region B on it.

Knowing FOX, they probably locked it up for this set as well. It doesn't make sense that they lock the France only when UK are in the same region.

If you plan on collecting steelbook for many years to come, then I recommend in buying a $100 multi-region player so that you can enjoy all movies around the world without worrying about region code.

$100 = 2 steelbooks

For me and maybe other people here who lived at region outside B and not have all region blu-ray player, probably still will choose this UK edition.. As we know before that the French have region B locked, so I ordered this UK with expectations it will be free region (but now I still confuse with what region it is)
Damn, I just need a steelbook with a good film in it to watch, why is it so difficult
FS metal box canceled, French region locked, and now this UK come with uncertain region :hilarious:

I think its everyone's personal opinion how he likes his steelbooks.

I'm dissapointed with this one because I like to open my steelbooks and love when there is inside art.

Don't mind those classification logos that much but no inside is major fail for me.

This steelbook might be one of two I will never open and might sell straight away.

I obviously prefer inside artwork but I can live without any, so that doesn't detract from the steelbook for me. I don't like the logos, but in the UK, logos are a reality so we have to deal with them. I had a feeling the French version would be the winner over this version, so I'm glad I'm getting both :D

it's hard to get region free player in my country :(
but i think i'm gonna buy region B player, it's easier :D
as far as i know, there are no region C only blu-ray, aite?

NB: i asked someone at br.com, he's testing this disc using PC blu-ray drive with TMT5 + region select tool, it's 100% AB :)

this steelbook is picture as advertised...play.com didn't do anything wrong.

I would be pissed if Play sent a metalpak instead of a steelbook for false advertising.

In the future, don't order a movie until after seeing actual pictures or else you'll disappoint yourself again.

I'm sure all of us have many steelbook with no artwork inside and printed text in the back.
The rating logo is a given from UK.

I think it looks fine folks....at least they didn't print a new title "TRIPLE PLAY" on the top.

Just to let you know that the France version is not perfect either...I found a flaw in it as well...like reverse spine title...oh well....

I paid my money and I'm entitled to moan about the Steel. It's a mess. As is the French Version avec Blu banner et upside-down spine.

You don't need to tell me when to order, or let me know what looks fine. I'm a collector, I know what to expect from Play.

The Blue banner is not even blue, it's grey actually and for once it blends in very well with the artwork, it doesn't stand out.
Actually you won't even notice it...;)

well said DB I'm with you.....

In situation like this I usually wait to have the steelbook in hands and then decide whether to keep it or pass but this time I cancelled straight away.

Only thanks to the Taiwan book edition which I will appreciate much more.

I'm mostly just amused at the speed in which this turned from the most wanted first class steelbook to the most unwanted.

I now wonder if the AUS/NZ metalpack is preferrable to this. At least there's no rating printed on that one. The French version is the best so far though. If only Amazon.de also release a version since they usually get awesome looking ones.
