NBC Cafeteria Celebrates Black History Month With Fried Chicken Special

So who at NBC thought it would be a good idea for the special today to be, among other things, fried chicken, “in honor of Black History Month”?

Because, spoiler alert – it wasn’t a good idea at all. And now NBCU employee Questlove is bringing it to the attention of his 1 million plus Twitter followers.

Questlove, the band leader and drummer for The Roots (the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) tweeted this picture from the NBC Commissary at 30 Rock, with the comment: “Hmm HR?”

2010 Sucks For Toyota

Toyota has just announced another recall for their Prius and other hybrid model cars worldwide. Now, the company is receiving complaints about the brakes in these vehicles, just adding to the list of embarrassing safety lapses found in their latest models.

Over 437,000 Prius and other hybrid vehicles are being recalled to investigate the recent problem, making the grand total of cars sent back to the Toyota Motor Corp. 8.5 million, starting with the cars sent back for malfunctioning floor mats to this newest issue.

Complaints started coming in to the company that the brakes on the 2010 Prius had a delay when pressed in cold weather conditions and some bumpy roads. Though the delay isn't considered a brake failure, the company is still recalling the vehicles to adjust the brakes with new software. The company tries to smooth over the issue by saying it shouldn't take longer than 40 minutes for the antilock brakes to be updated.
 
George Clinton's Son Found Dead

Funk superstar George Clinton's son was found dead in his Tallahassee home last week, appearing to have died from natural causes.

George Clinton, Jr. was only 50 years old and the police have stated, "Barring any finding by the Medical Examiner's Office, our investigation is complete."

Clinton also recently lost his mother, Julious G. Keaton, back in December.
 
yah, i want a f150 someday. living in wisconsin basically requires you to have a truck. would be nice today, with all the snow.

but i cant think of really any ford cars i would want. the focus is OK, the mustang is overrated IMO (at least new ones)

still, as bad of a month as toyota had, its been that good for ford and GM and honda

most big rapper tend to carry guns because most of the time people are really out to get them look at T.I he bought a damn armory and he aint got nowhere near lil wayne money it's really like a piece at mind thing. plus the gun wasn't his anyway it was his manager but they pinned it on him why i dont know but the gun had everyone's dna on the tour bus so why just bust wayne?

Whats up with his grill? Are those diamonds? Does he realize his lips could be sliced off if he got punched *just* right?

I wonder how he's going to do in prison.. wouldn't the inmates want his teeth?

they not sending him to federal prison they putting him in state prison which i dont get why put a grammy winner and possibly the greatest rapper alive in public population?yes he has diamonds on the teeth which isn't really a grill cause it doesn't pull out from what i understand . but i dont know why his teeth would hold the case back.if there bent he could get that fixed when he get's out inless he's getting the gold's pulled out before sentencing.

well you know how rappers are :ohno: plus wayne being affiliated with the bloods isn't a good thing especially not in Ny where most are crips.plus most of these guys been on the street protecting themself's and dont feel they need bodyguards.
 
actually the gun was on the tour bus ... and he TOLD the police the tour bus was his and EVERYTHING that was in it ... he truly did rat on himself, and the only reason why he is taking this sentence is because thsi excact same thing got him arrested in Arizona and he is still going to court for it. Arizona will throw the book at him and not go lightly so he's taking this probably to buy him time for Arizona and hoping he can get a deal worked out there during this time in jail currently. Seriously, if AZ dont work with him and still wants to prosecute wayne when he gets out you can then say goodbye to wayne as im sure he'll get 3+ in AZ
