It really dampens the excitement of going out and picking up a bunch to supply people around the world at cost.

It has the potential to be awesome but their policy is stupid.

I was IN my store when I checkedthe kiosk at 10:10 am and it said every store in the entire state was sold out. I knew this was bullshit because i hadnt checked out yet and I had all 4in my hand. So they SHOULD have said 4.

I suggest those not being turned off by it saying none available online. My guess is there is still chance you can find a copy in store. albeit this still was very limited so dont wait too long to check....

I do believe once a item drops low enough it will say Out of stock... But I thought the magic number is 4-5 ... Then if you got to CS they can tell you a exact amount the store should have. But you have to keep in mind people that have copies in their hands or hides them in the game section or the fridges :hilarious:.....

BTW do we know the print run on this

Wow, this one is hard to come by even in the Midwest! Congrats to all who were able to pick one up. I luckily ordered 2 for pickup around midnight and I went to pickup with no prob shortly before noon. Was relieved after finding out found that none available at all three BB in my area.

i know you cant give an exact number but can you say if its above or below 4000

4k is the MOQ for g2 steel. This has always been PUBLIC information for everyone to know ...

So if one were to make a speculation for purely speculation purposes they might want to guess on average how many steels each store got.

According to this PUBLIC information easily found on bestbuy.com

http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=83192&p=irol-reports

there is exactly 1,056 stores now in 2013. (in the usa)

X were alotted for online and then the rest went to stores ... speculation...

So if i was just speculating of course ... then even at 4 copies per store that would be over 4k without even counting online. So I think its fairly obvious the run is large then 4k ...

But of course I am simply just speculating ... and only posting PUBLIC info.

I'm sure you guys can further speculate and probably get much closer to what you believe is correct.

I personally suspect a very swift sell-out.

My store had 8
I went to two of my local BB stores and they both have about 9-10 copies displayed.
Visited 2 stores one at opening and looked like no more than 10 copies available.
My nearest store have 10 of em at the opening
My Store had 7. :ohno:
I picked a copy up on my lunch and they had about eight left.

All speculating on PUBLIC infos... :naughty:

My guess is 10,000

I honestly believe at MAX its 10,000 and maybe lowest 8,000 .... Maybe 1000-1500 online because it was down so fast.but It looks like we may never know :( Only because I figured at least 8 per store... And I know several stores got only 4 (these were much smaller stores)

Thanks anyways wreck!:scat:

my store had 4 ... two of Andy's had 3x

Is 10,000 a lot or a small run for comparable releases? (i.e. releases that do not that state they are 4000 run for example)

That number would be small for the USA, where as large for some Countries.

What makes this one harder to get is it was priced EXACT same as regular slipcover edition ... so you also got normal consumers who go "Oh a cool metal case thingy" and purchase.

So even less in collector's hands... in which case even more that get opened ... and more that get abused ....

Wow, earlier this afternoon all the copies were gone from stores. Looking online tonight, every store is back in stock

Weird

Yeah I'm seeing this as well but I have a feeling it's a glitch. Bestbuy.com isn't exactly a dependable site, athough I hope I'm wrong.;)
