I agree with @jimmyv I think the full slip is miles ahead of the PET full slip. Get on that paper slip people!
I agree and did plus the Keep Case and The Master UE6 edition, was out of stock for a long time says only a few copies left wonder when that popped up. I feel pretty good shouldn't be to hard to get a far price on the bay for my missing pet slip and 1/4 slip. There shipping costs aren't to bad.

You guys who missed this and aren't ordering the full paper slip individually are straight bonkers!

If the full slip was the only edition available, it is still SUPER PREMIUM HIGH GRADE work from PA.

I would be all over that add to cart button right now if I didn't get my order in yet.

Their are diehard fans of PLAIN then theirs us! We joke about the ONE CLICK GANG, and the "NO OTHER OPTION" lifestyle but for PA, it's real. All or nothing! When Novamedia messed up the DRIVE release PLAIN ARCHIVE'S OWNER, JUNO BAEK HIMSELF HAD TO TALK ME DOWN FROM GIVING UP MY ENTIRE COLLECTION OF PLAIN! So I respect HIGHER RANKED PA COLLECTORS - ESPECIALLY THE "PRINCE OF PLAIN" @PunkNinja if he felt that way! Not taking anything away from others members but for PLAINHEADS like @PunkNinja @AnubisNefer @Logikloch and Myself to have missed out on this, in that way, was more than heartbreaking - especially knowing that a faction of resellers got packS just to flip... Listen this is deeper than collecting. In all aspects, this was OUR MOMENT and through no fault of our own.. that moment has passed.. It was taken from us. So please my friend @jimmyv let it be, and let them be.

Guess this is it. Congratulations PLAIN, but you've made it to the big leagues. If there was so much fuss over Zero Dark Thirty, I can't imagine what it'd be like if PLAIN ever do a major MAJOR blockbuster title.

I snuck out of work to order and I was logged in and ready to go at least five minutes before the pre-order start and I still missed out. Managed to get a paper slip and a keep case edition though. Can't say I'm not bummed, but at least PLAIN are raking it in.

Ive ordered the Triple Pack and my PayPal says 01:01.09 am , my order #5496

10-20 seconds for 200-300 orders when I compare to other Order #s here o_O

I could been faster if I pay'd over my account but I need to change Paypal to Credit Card.

Im really sorry that so many Ninjas missed out :bag:

I sort of expected this was going to happen

This film is a lot more popular than a lot thought it was
Added to this the amazing attention to detail of each edition
3 steelbook versions and 1 Keepcase Amaray edition

I said from the start the one clicks would most likely sell out in 1-2 min

Also an important factor the print run for international customers was not that big really so the one clicks we're going to sell out mega fast as with the 1/4 slip limited to 500
The group buys had at least 20% of 1/4 slips and there was no way there was enough stock to meet the demand of attempted one click orders because as soon as the 1/4 slip limit of 500 was reached that meant all one clicks would be gone

For those who want the Steelbook the Paper Full Slip is a beautiful package

I got my order in for the quadruple but if I had of missed out I would have ordered the Paper Full Slip instead of the Pet Full Slip

I also had an idea this would test plain archive website as this was the first time they had a high demand title

i hear ya man. fully understand. just wanted to rally the troops in a bit of a different way that's all. missing out on a great release is horrible. it's happened to me more than once and I hate it.

whenever these retailers are ready to embrace a fool proof and more fair and simple way to "get your order in quickly", it will virtually eliminate these types of scenarios.

i mean seriously... think about... there could be something on their website as simple as logging into your PA account, clicking 1 single "order" button on the product page, and having your account IMMEDIATELY reserve your copy in your account like a forum post. BAM! in fact... they could even list it out like an excel spreadsheet and anyone whose order gets in after the stock is gone goes onto the waiting list.

oh. interesting. that's just like our group buys.

then pay at your leisure like within 48 hours or whatever or your order is cancelled and those copies go back into the stock.

as to the "inventory issue" and "instant OOS" drama there is not much to add to this post by @RobertJoseph17 .
this is what happened, and if you want to blame someone for missing out, then it should NOT be Plain.

with all the group buys happening for this (HDN is not the only site have GB's for this...) that eat up about 50% of the international stock, i'm still not surprised that a lot of people had "inventory sold out" problems from the very beginning... i'm not a big fan of the GB idea to be honest. going this way i would end up paying a premium price (at least 25% above retail) because of all the shipping costs and taxes...

Trying to get my head around that, but I figure it makes sense. If ever I'm asked how hard it is to achieve something I will firmly answer with "have you ever tried to place a going live order with an Asian Steelbook retailer?"

i think aside from ZDT being more mainstream film, the editions are fantastic. would also be helpful if order limit is 1 for each variant (PET, Full, Quarter, Tripack, Quadpack) atleast for the first 2 hours. probably won't make a lot of difference but can still spare some copies for more customers. but gotta give it to Plain. well-deserved sell-out!

Thats the only point I must give to PA. Why they don't limit it to 1 per customer. And not two of each pack plus single ones. I collect sneakers and how many times I would have love to own two or three pairs of one release (looking to the pair on my feet with a tear in the eye) and it's always limited to 1 per customer. And that's only fair!

I'm sorry to all who missed out. I really am. I have missed out on stuff too, we all do...That's the nature of our hobby!

BUT I don't agree with the trash talk. Don't be so quick to bash/hate/turn on PLAIN who gave NINJAS a chance to secure copies via GB.

Its plain (eh!) to see both the good and bad sides of a GB just like what has been said. The GBs might secure you a copy, but several GBs eats out the inventory for the person trying to order online.

Sorry to heat that some folks didnt get a chance to order what they wanted. Myself i gave this release a rest for now.

I had made up mind for OneClick after KeepCase edition was revealed. But I had to look at my bank balance. And reality bites.
But I am happy that I got another awesome paper slip from PA. That's what I had decided to go with initially.
#PaperSlipArmy.

PA is one of the best (Or If I can rephrase it, one of the best quality oriented movie collectible producers (blu-ray Steelbook and KeepCase) ) movie collectible (Bluray Steelbook and KeepCase) producers right now in entire world. It's their 8th exclusive (if I am not wrong) (Plus many steelbooks and normal editions which are designed by them). Whether it's movie selection as exclusive collectible, or it's artwork, including for all type of content in their package, It is very easy to see attention to details and uniqueness. From Melancholia to ZDT, I do not think that there has been a single incident that questions their established parameters for quality content for their collectibles.

Bah that sucks! I feel really sorry for you guys. For me that order was so smooth, I cant believe some of that "pro" clickers wont get this. :(
As the first comments pop up that preorder didnt work, i didnt understand this because everything was available for me, but than i tried to get a solo 1/4...and now i had the same problem like you guys.

You wanted to go for quad or tri only and dont want to add every edition so maybe Plain have a heart and reserve (if it happen) unpaid orders / cancellation for some true PA Fans of the first hour!!!

Good luck guys you deserve it.

There will probably be some cancellations up or come back in stock I've seen it happen before for some of plains releases. But if they do no one is taking a PET slip off me
