VERY NICE!!

What do you think of the lenti effect Dings? It looks on video's like it snaps quickly from left to right (if that makes any sense) I still think the HMV version is the best, reminds me of when collecting steels was more fun and rewarding.

I think the Lenti EFFECT is subtle movement. This Lenti is not about its EFFECT, but rather about its detail, depth, and clarity. It's a cracking Lenticular. Love it.

Im Glad you got on the GB so you didn't have to go through the hell of that pre-order...

Back when I fisrt got Drive HMV I was so excited, but There was a tiny Unpleasnt surprise under the j card. thats $160 that i kinda regret spending...Its was way too much for that Steel, and i haven't paid that much for a steel since then.

I love the HMV steel itself , but a ding on that beauty makes me cringe. I'm not aTransformers fan, so that couldn't have been my avatar at the time.

I had a DJANGO and Thor avatars for the longest. Can't remember what else...

In terms of packaging this one wins by mile. I really wanted the Mondo but passed that as a part of the front seems to be there on the inside, scorpion isn't debossed and that lackluster spine.

I was our working the day it went live on Nova- no way would I have had 3 hours to sit there banging F5!!

Nova is the best by a mile

Hmv has no inside artwork that's a big letdown

So now some whizz kid just has to create the monstrosity I'm describing: Nova 1/4 slip inside a full slip with the 36p booklet with a steel comprised of HMV back, Mondo front and inside art with a Nova spine...all somehow squashed inside the Futureshop Scorpion Slip. The glorious Frankenstein of steels.

I received number 18 today from Canada Post. Thought I might have sneaked into the top 10 as I was able to get my one-click order in just before the server fiasco in which I spent nearly three hours, afterwards, trying to get a lenticular for a friend with no luck as I had to head into work. Thankfully he was able to secure one via the GB here. For myself, I am more than happy to have them in my ever-growing collection of steelbooks.

Love the variations of all three of the steels and they will look good next to my HMV Drive steel and Future Shop Mondo when I put them all up for display on my shelves.

After opening the Lenticular I must say this should be steel of the year. Everything about this release is incredible. The build quality.. the full gloss.. the artwork (enough about the lamp... it is a very iconic shot from the beginning of the film).. the 36pg booklet, the debossed scorpion (best rear artwork ever?) The Lenticular effect is good. GORGEOUS Steelbook my friends... So happy one of the most unique and cult-favorite films gets the Royal treatment.

Now, a couple of things after watching the Disc...

The disc is labelled Region A, but I can tell you for sure it plays on Region A and B. I would assume C too but I didn't test it. So it is at least Region A/B, and probably Region Free.

Also, not a big deal but the disc defaults to English Audio but has the Korean Subtitles. Unfortunately, the setup menu is in Korean so that is a little challenging to turn them off. Best to use the Subtitle button on your remote. It should only take a few presses and they are off. I think the other menus are in English. Not sure why Audio/Subtitles aren't.
