I know this is not the place , but I figured since alot of the members were attacking me for offering a GB , its my right to write something here as well...its going to be kept simple...


guys I have no problem with closing my groupbuy . I have nowhere else such a problem with members as I have here , why are you so selfish and only concerned about your own well being ? This is a community and if you are a NINJA you should be feeling the brotherly Love of the NINJA and not trying to stab your NINJA bros/sis in the back.

I feel it is necessary to clarify what I was objecting to. If I understand correctly previously when you joined a GB you were essentially guaranteed a copy through a separate channel. If this GB is working different with John ordering multiple copies at the same time as the rest of us schmucks then that's fine. It's all about fairness and not selfishness as everyone ordering directly from the source at the same time is the LEAST SELFISH SOLUTION.

Someone will always miss out. That's life. When you miss out on something where nobody had any unfair advantage then that is easily acceptable. When you miss out because someone had unfair advantage or prior reservation of items then that is harder to accept. Also most GB are for releases that cannot be directly ordered from the source. So in that respect as well this is different from most GB.

Since the posts are concerning this particular steelbook I can't think of a better place to discuss it.

I have not made any personal attacks about anyone in any of the posts.

It's more fair than a Group Buy run for exclusives at bricks and mortar stores (Best Buy, Future Shop, HMV etc.) where a member could clean out an entire store.

Exactly! That's the main problem here IMO... they really need to limit the amount people are allowed to buy.

They should limit to 1 of each version per order considering the available amount of stock for international customers and surely by now they will have seen this release has a lot of interest and I'm surprised they did not go with a bigger print run with months of posts showing lot of interest with this release

If this was a title with less interest then its would not have been a problem having no limit

The Group buys that are happening are not just here but lot of other places also some are local Korea and some are overseas (Group Buys are very welcomed with a releases that's not available to ship to your country and are very helpful but do sometimes cause heated debate with collectors when its a very limited release that's available to ship worldwide)

If its a highly wanted release that's very limited and low print run its going to be pure luck for collectors to get an order in be it direct or using a group buy with no limit in place

All I can say Good Luck on Nov 4th and if your lucky to get an order in congrats

I managed to join a GB for this, and for that I am entirely grateful. I am not going to be around at the point in which this is released, so I would have likely missed out on this if it wasn't for the GB.
