Plain Archive is excited to announce the release of I Saw The Devil Steelbook. We've been asked by Blue Kino, another Korean Blu-ray company to design the Steelbook edition which will be PLAIN ARCHIVE's exclusive.
We were hoping to release the world's first Steelbook edition of I Saw The Devil, but Zavvi announced its own before we could. The news made us reconsider the project, but with director Kim Jee-woon's support, we couldn't drop it.
I Saw The Devil Steelbook will be released under the approval of director Kim, and we are working on the artwork as we speak.
Best Regards
PLAIN ARCHIVE

Anyone else's tracking didn't update since the 4th????????????

Same here - picked K-packet this time as well and still no scan for arrival in the USA. :(

My Kimchi Her steelbooks shipped by K-packet on the same day from Korea arrived on Saturday!
Usually takes about 14 days for it to be delivered whenever I choose K-packet. Couple of days ago I got an update that its in the country, and yesterday another update that its in my city and yesterday was the 13th day. So its on schedule for me. I know I'm not in USA but I figured it should at least be similar to us. On another note Nova's The Fall is taking too long. Its been 20 days and its still a no show. So there might be something wrong with K-packet or just simply too many steelbook orders from Korea to NA :p

Kudos to PA for their immediate, clear and thorough clarification.
I know right? As a company they have impressed me more than any others and on more than one occasion. They seem to be on top of their game

Busted mine open the other night. Another amazing package from PA. I got only the PET slip and couldn't be happier with it.

And now time for me to admit something to all:

I opened it, and read some of the book first. Some of the details in the booklet get into the graphic violence and horrific acts in this movie. I had known about this from many of the comments in the forum, but I figured "how bad can it be". Well, after reading about it in the book, I SERIOUSLY considered leaving the steelbook only wrapped (because it's wrapped inside the slip) and selling my now "opened copy" with a sealed steelbook inside. :ohno: I'm really not into evil violence.

And then, in a midnight moment of pure "nah eff-it ness", I yanked that shrinkwrap off the steelbook, put the disc in the player, poured a tall ice cold frosty (a beer), and watched the full international version.

WHOA! yes, it was insanely brutal. yes, it was difficult to watch at times, but it was AWESOME!

I'm keeping it.

That is all. Crack on.

I'm still tempted on picking one up from Ebay for an affordable price as I missed out on the groupbuy as this is easily one of the best steelbooks for this year...
