cancelled all 3 today & went with Amazon DE...better price at amazon especially if you're in The USA. Worked out to $13.35 per steelbook with vat removed & combined shipping of 3 euros. Also canced my zavi Ai steelbook for the same reason.

Did the exact same thing and I also cancelled 2001 A space odyssey from zavvi for same reason. Cheaper on amazon.de despite the shipping charge.

Yep, they will be up again. I had ordered 2 of each to make sure I get mint copies, but due to lack of funds I cancelled a set of these. Just hope mine come in mint![emoji16]

Got mine today. It's a beauty, high quality art and finish - absolutely no complaints from me

I'm not giving zavvi any credit for this though as I doubt they requested the gloss finish as we'd see it more often. Full credit to Universal as it's even better than King Kong (which didn't have any embossing but was still great).

Still received the dreaded spine slash. Returns are a hassle and no doubt zavvi will offer a shabby discount even though I have already told them I want a replacement instead.
