I find the images Manta used on both this and Alien Covenent would have made for some great full slips, not sure what the obsession is with all these retailers to do everything with a lenticular effect?

I totally agree with you. Lentis are pretty useless imo. Only destorys details of high def pictures and make strange surface of the slip. There is only one lenti I would buy the **** out of, if Manta Lab would make their Fantastic Beasts with a Lenti showing a wizard newspaper/poster (because in the movie the pictures of the Newspaper are moving) e.g. this:

Just got my double lenti....probably the first time I've been a bit disappointed with a Manta release. Both lenti images are poor and the steelbook is OK.

Yup

I don't mind as much as I know John will sort me a replacement but I think almost everyone of my Manta steels that I've opened have had scratches and paint chips

I think the box set will be the one to own. I hope anyway

Just a shame it will stick out on the shelf due to it being a box and not a slip (that's if you only buy one editon of their slips like I do)

Got mine today. Fairly pleased with the steelbook, but a bit disappointed that the discs are Region A and not region free

Not a fan of the HDZeta style thicker box either. I'd rather have a slimmer box even if it meant a flimsier booklet bound with staples rather than a rigid spine - as that is what takes up the extra space.

Yeah it's pretty annoying as it effectively makes the package £15 more expensive if you're having to buy the disc separately.

Plus you can't watch the noire version. Luckily I wasn't too interested in that myself or I'd be really p!ssed right now!

It better not be. Only buying the one editon of that film and don't want to have to buy discs again like I did with the revenant

The revenant (Fox) was Locked Region A. Logan (Fox) is locked so Alien Covenant will be too.

Yeah revenant was very annoying and only just picked the discs up 3/4 weeks ago (nearly a year later)
