I'm surprised people aren't complaining that these artworks don't match the original trilogy steelbooks that's just been released!!
I think a matching set is less important than each one being amazing in its own right.
Besides, the recent ones were rubbish. A black and white image with inappropriate title fonts, done in yellow simply to ape the style of Fury Road. If they'd used the original poster art with correct title treatments (similar to the original UK VHS covers) then I'd have bought the lot. As it is, I'm not bothered.
There will probably be a few collectors too that aren't interested in the originals and as Fury Road is a quasi-sequel/reboot/remake and doesn't really require viewing of the originals I don't think it really matters.
This one does definitely not belong to the Mad Max Trilogy, because it is without Mel. I have not seen the movie yet, but no one can replace Mel Gibson as Mad Max. Therefore I consider this one its own.
Cant wait to see the final artwork for this! This movie truly deserves the best exclusives
I want FilmArena to do itIts Warner Brothers so there will be plenty other versions from other countries.
I hope Nova will release it (Full slip and Lenticular)
I can't wait to see all the different Steels this release is gonna get.. Can't lie I kinda hope for a Mondo Steel release!
