Cool artwork but can you seriously see a child/animal friendly company like Disney allowing this to be used on the front of one of their ateelbooks?

No worries bud, I think whether people like this design or not, it's one of the strangest art choices of the Pixar collection so far. Execution wise Walle and The Incredibles could've been better but at least those featured the titular characters. It reminds me of one of those Project Pop Art steels.

Just imagine if they allowed the steel to shine through on the knives and forks. That artwork would be PERFECT on a steelbook.

Nice colors and finish. Looks better in the flesh but still not my taste. The front and rear have 2 totally different "types" of artwork that just do not flow.

Thanks for the pics Paul. I still like this, even more so, now I've seen what they've done regarding the embossing and finish. It's a classy looking steel, and oddly, the debossed border seems to improve the overall front, it seems to 'fill in' the blankness surrounding the imagery in the centre.

Still, I'm not ordering as I've seen the film and it wasn't my cup of tea.

Nice effort though, given what Disney had to work with

I think from the 4 Zavvi Pixar releases (Wall-E, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Bugs life), the best in my opinion are Bugs life and Wall-E.

I cancelled this after going through my pre-orders and wondering what the hell I'd pre-ordered for £23.74. I chuckled when I saw it was this and cancelled straight away. I must have been in a good mood when I pre-ordered at that price.
