So this is backlit? Like the posters you see in movie theaters? Pretty evenly lit? Nice and bright? Good detail? Thanks!

Just have to post that the illuminated 3D lenticular case is pretty darn cool. I was fortunate to be given a sneak peek at my favorite BB store last night and I was initially intrigued but then as you move the box around, the back lighting created a sense of the third dimension. I can see future box sets having this new illuminated 3D lenticular box cover. But note that Best Buy did it first with the Avengers!

Yes it is backlit, no not like the posters in the movie theaters since this box has a 3D lenticular cover. Detail is as good as the usual 3D lenticular slip cover but not as bright as I would like perhaps because of the excessive florescent lighting in the BB store or perhaps the store employees were playing with it all day and left the light on. Only 6 more hours for those on the east coast.

I have been told the $7.50 deposit will be applicable towards this set. At least in the stores around me. Take the J-card along with your receipt and point out step 3 on the back which says something about picking up ANY version of The Avengers on Blu-ray or something like that. Good luck!

LOL DB, I am too old and too lazy to do the waiting line shuffle. I just call the stores with midnight opening and ask if there is a line forming outside and if there is, how long If there is no or a short line at store closing, I will haul ass and get there.
