Hey buddy, I would probably put the POTC trilogy on the US list in addition to Zero Dark Thirty. Also Man of Steel with the lenticular magnet shows signs of promise. Great thread btw, I'm glad to own quite a few of these.:movie:

Very Impressive AA - Well done :) Bit late with the Gladiator but you eventually got it!

So...how much did it cost :naughty::p

I actually had it secured in March or April, this year, just couldn't find a fail-proof safe way for this to be sent to me. Til now.

How much? Let's just say that it is a price that probably anyone on HDN who wants a sealed copy of it would be most willing to pay, maybe a couple of hundreds more too ;)

So it be nearly one year ago since this was last updated! With the huge influx of steels, values have changed dramatically, up and down, who is bold enough to have a dab at the top ten (not promoting your own steelbooks of course)? :naughty:

I volunteer Sir sunnyx of hidefninja. This is by no means a perfect list:

1. John Rambo (Amazon.de Exclusive with Tattoo Sticker) [Germany]
2. Gladiator [Taiwan]
3. Terminator 2 (v2.0) [Japan]
4. Iron Man (Future Shop) [Canada]
5. Dark Knight,The (FNAC Exclusive) [France]
6. Thing,The (1982) (Amazon JP Exclusive) [Japan]
7. Thor (Amazon JP Exclusive) [Japan]
8. Captain America [Taiwan]
9. Thor [Korea]
10. Terminator Salvation (Virgin Exclusive with Sticker) [France]

Keep the opinions coming, in June if we have enough information we can update this thread but I do like viewing the steels as they were a year ago for memories and when they were at its peak :)

Maybe we can add a separate 2014 top ten on the side.

Right after you, Slim.

1. Gladiator [Taiwan] [1,000, at least, if you can find it!]
2. John Rambo (Amazon.de Exclusive with Tattoo Sticker) [Germany] [800]
3. Terminator 2 (v2.0) [Japan] [750]
4. Dark Knight, The (FNAC Exclusive) [France] [700]
5. Iron Man (Future Shop) [Canada] [550 - 600]
6. Le Grand Bleu (Amazon JP, unsealed with all art cards etc) [Japan] [500]
7. Bolt metalpak (Virgin Exclusive with stickers) [France] [500]
8. Terminator Salvation (Virgin Exclusive with Sticker) [France] [500]
9. Captain America [Taiwan] [450]
10. Thor (Amazon JP Exclusive) [Japan] [400]

Did a little copy and paste and editing...added what I believe is the going rate (forgiveness please, if I am misguided, I am old school) next to the title....6, 7 & 8 are interchangeable. Good to see you back, sunnyx. I am not too active myself on HDN recently, but when the topic of grails come up, I will be nearby :>

:hilarious: Typical of AA!

Thanks for your input! No need to put the prices down as this can be hugely subjective which is why putting them in order is simpler to say which one has more value to the other.

In relation to Gladiator TW tristar has one on his sale thread sealed and new for 800 euros? But no pictures or anything so this is not verified.

I do actually wonder is there any SB collector that has every single steelbook released for Blu-ray? That must be one remarkable achievement!
